So yes there’s the question? What happened to all the WoW machinimas?
I miss, summer gale, nyhm, zarkan, yumfireswow, gigi etc. it was great how they all featured on each other’s stuff as well.
Does Nhym even play anymore? Just some nostalgia.

Nixxom too hardly makes machinimas.
Burnout, Youtube algorithm sucks. Not enough profit to gain out of how much time some take is probably the primary one IMO if I had to guess.
Like Pint’s videos… he always snuck in a sneaky ad for a mobile game or whatever to pay for it. Crendor just stopped making machinma’s because he overall cares about Youtube far less then he did years ago, more of a Twitch person now. I believe it’s also the same with Nixxiom.
Combine that with, the current state of this game. I blame no one from moving on in terms of content.
There’s no real reason to atm since they canned blizzcon 2022.
There’s not much revenue from it either. Just hard to justify putting in all the effort for nothing. Doesn’t help that the games on the low atm

Warcraft has been creatively bankrupt for some years now…I mean look at Sylvanas. A once cold calculating tactical genius reduced to somebodies fanfiction in the Blizzard office.
I’m sure they’d tell everyone they just don’t get it but anyone with an iota of memory will tell them that they’re just talking out of their rear.
The question you should be asking is when was it the last time we had an epic moment?
When last did we feel proud as players for our faction choice?
Do our leaders make us feel pride in ourselves?
I think you’ll find a lot of those answers tells you why machinima is dead for Warcraft.
