If you’re queueing for 11/12 Rookery, you need to know the fight mechanics. Soooo many pugs don’t know how to swap corruption on the 2nd boss or proper positioning on the last boss. People be crowding the tank, dropping corruption puddles all around me and wonder why we wipe on it. I didn’t have this issue with higher keys last season, people not knowing the fights at all. Is it just laziness and people looking to be carried?

Tanks stand near one of the edges.
Out of everyone’s way for the last boss.
And for the second boss, the reason is that usually they’ve never reached a point to where it was fatal so it didn’t matter.

Stay away from the ledge because if you fall off there’s no getting back.
The dungeon journal doesn’t even tell me how to swap the debuff. I shouldn’t have to find a video explaining it. The mechanics should be properly explained in the journal.

That’s not what the journal ever was. It’s a requirement in wow to learn the fights. Know the fights, and have a decent enough UI to be able to know what’s going on.
If you’re doing anything above queue-able content, do your homework or you’re wasting everyone’s time.
