Why does my honor level put me into a different bg bracket?

kind of annoying as the queues are really long to get into games… but i need to play to get out of the bracket?? is there any way around this?

also is the new rated bg system similar to this?

Q up for Blitz. That’s Group finder::PvP::Rated Section:Solo:Battlegrounds. You’ll accumulated honor there (and conquest) and when u get above 30 its normal random/epic bgs Q’s. You can also Q with others and it will not place u in the weird lower honor level q’s.

I think one of the other players also needs to be above honor level 30. If everyone in your party is under honor level 30, you probably don’t change brackets.

  1. Remove this stupid system
  2. Add hidden MMR for normal bgs (that only ensures average MMR is similar for both teams)
  3. New players start with intentionally much lower MMR (MMR adjustment based on honor level, gets lower as account honor level approaches 30)

=> Boom queues improve for everyone!

Yeah, just play Blitz. One queue for everyone, no premades, no crazy consumables…and it actually has rewards!

Yah they should totally remove the <30 honor level Q system. It backfires with long Q’s. Throw the fresh fish in cold and let 'em learn to swim. Until then, Blitz is there.

The current devs might not even be aware of the separate bracket.
