Like 10-20 times in the last week I have dropped group at the end of a dungeon, hearthed, looked at my phone while it’s casting, and then I look up and it was interrupted somehow. Anyone know what’s causing this?

Mine has too OP…I’ve had to reload a couple of times.
Not to be one of those that post only unhelpful snark, but…maybe you bumped your mouse, or something similar?
I don’t know, but it’s infuriating.
I can’t just leave the group while I’m hearthing after the dungeon’s done, I have to either stay in group and finish the cast, time my leave with the cast finishing, or leave the group and stand there like a dolt for a few seconds to dodge whatever nonsense is interrupting it.
Same thing happens when I zone into a dungeon. I can’t just drop a soulwell off the rip now, I have to wait.
This was never an issue before. I have no idea why it’s happening now. Probably related to that stupid XP debuff that keeps applying in every mythic.

I keep my addons up to date btw.
I can see where your toon could get tired casting the new expansion’s hearth stone and need to take a quick break. It’s using a lot of shoulder action.

Possible PEBKAC error was inferred, and promptly rejected. Your rabid Tamiasciurus scenario just became more likely.
It’s possible something bumped you or someone used a grip on you as a prank, it’s also possible that by dropping group you get sent to the outside from not being part of the party anymore
Had this happen like 3 times yesterday after a dungeon
I think its any time someone leaves the group, although I’ve also had it happen after I’ve left a group.
It seems to happen at least once at the end of every dungeon but I’ve had some where its up to half a dozen.
I wonder is it only ElvUI users?

You guys, I have been playing this game since vanilla. I’m not getting life gripped without my knowledge and I’m not getting ported out. When I say my hearthstone cast is randomly stopping, that’s what’s happening. And it’s happened dozens of times. This isn’t me just not noticing a gimmick.
I use elvui, so maybe?
I noticed that it interrupts me any time that XP buff falls off or gets added.
If you were a tank monk I would maybe say it’s stagger still ticking damage.
DH have a hero talent that makes them take 10% of damage over 6 seconds instead. That ticking damage seems to interrupt things.

Happens to me all the time, but only at the end of runs and when people are leaving. I find if I leave first then hearth, it usually works.
Been happening to me. Yesterday something even crazier happened. Hearthstone completed but wouldn’t port me. Slipstream disappeared and I couldn’t fly up to Dornogol.
Wasn’t lagging either, but was stuck in some weird purgatory.
