I thought maybe an addon was highjacked so I disabled all addons and still the constant dancing while melee fighting. This is very irritating !!
I have clicked off every buff as it comes up in hopes of finding what is triggering this dance BS. I believe its causing delays in my weapon speed beyond driving me nuts. The worst is if I have to run from a bunch of mobs all while waving my arms over my head in a praise type motion. I have tried to find what is causing this… its not on my gear, talents have been the same for a long while now, not on trinkets. No enchants.
Who thought this would be fun to add. Also, its not just me. I saw another DK doing the same thing.
The person who designed this needs to seek help. I’m amazed that mgmt would agree to this with the decline in Shadowlands players.

Is it normal NE dancing? Like when you type /dance are you doing the same thing there that you do in combat?
You must be standing nearby a mailbox.
Mailboxes are a Night Elf girls kryptonite

So far, I will have to agree with Fairlight. There are a couple of toy effects that might force you to dance. I was just on my DK and didn’t notice any dancing from my end.

This sounds like a bug
Reminds me of my gnome priest when he was bugging out. He did a roar animation any time I spawned Auspicious Spirits. It was so annoying
I’d post in the bug report forum. Also try restarting your game, it might help
Isn’t there a toy that makes everyone dance even in combat? It was probably that.

It’s not dancing, that’s how ugly the NE animations are.
Multiple dancing toys exist.
Emotes aren’t going to display as buffs.
Maybe someone logged in and macroed /dance to some of your abilities as a joke.
This one time I logged into my buddies account and added “My name is XXXXXXX and I love to suck XXXX” to a few of his abilities. Same icon and tooltip, took him like 2 days to figure it out. Best raids ever.
