Why does James Clark have two children with him while you kill him?

James Clark is a criminal NPC you kill in an early Elwynn Forest quest, he resides in a house in Eastvale Logging Camp (Oddly in front of Marshal McCree’s face, but let’s not focus on this)

He works for the Collector, and is required to kill him to continue the quest…while the two children watch

The children have no last name, they are simply “Kyle” and “Kevin”

Are they related to James Clark? Are they HIS children? Are we literally killing the father of these children right in front of them as some sort of inhumane monster?

This is important to me

“The Collector” is actually Jeffrey Epstein. The rest writes itself.

This was not my intention but there is some sort of conspiracy with this

Humans forced to kill a father in front of two children

What’s the name of the quest?

“WANTED: James Clark”, it’s on a board on a bridge near Eastvale

You mean the Jeffrey Epstein that didn’t kill himself? :joy:

No different then Stormwind sending people to kill a man in front of his daughter in the Deadmines tbh.

I mean

That’s exceedingly fair

Westfall’s quests in general are very questionable

Apparently he killed someone’s prize pig or something.

But what if he was doing that on behalf of the Collector to feed his children

Surely a prized pig isn’t worth the life of a father before his two children

But what if the family that owned that pig starved because they lost the income due to him killing it.

Ehh, the quest reward isn’t even good. Skip it if it bugs you. It’s not needed for progression.

Just some random dude we kill for some random reason. Murder hobo life!

It’s the Stonefields. They’re mouthbreathers. Err sorry. Brackwells. They’re Stonefield 1st cousins, so…

Oh no you gotta kill him to get one of your first greens

Listen sacrifices must be made to boost your ilvl, but I will say it isn’t my fault, I’m basically the messenger

It’s the Alliance at fault over me, really

Just following orders, eh?

The player actually does that in another quest (kill the pig). It was put in that he’s merely suspected for that crime as a little joke that he takes the fall for your crime with the pig.

But the other stuff he’s listed for doesn’t say “suspected,” it just says he’s wanted for it, so those things he probably did. It also doesn’t say you’ll find him at his house, just that he was headed in the direction of the logging camp. I think the implication is that he’s forcibly occupied the home of some innocent person. You’re probably freeing the kids.

I mean if I’m asked to kill hobos in Westfall for information

y’know

no amount of csi miami memes will hide what i am doing

That’s arguably worse, I could be just framing some dude

May or may not be his house or his kids

Even then killing the dude in front of the kids is not the best of things

I just looked them both up,they just seem to be random npc children with no last name or back story.
