she fled and did not help dalaran against the might of the scourge, then dalaran was destroyed…
she didnt helped at all at the broken shore battle and left varian alone…he died…
and again (according to the recent teaser) she once again does not fight for dalaran or even help khadgar and the other mages, she just ran away again
but she insists on being the npc quest giver who says the most obvious and cringe lines ever, why?
Cuz they show her as if she can resolve everything with her powers and she take control of the narrative. Remember siege of undercity, she not only turned the tide but in the end when they confronted sylvanas. She bubbled(something and out should have done as a priest) than teleported them out(something Alleria could have done).
Jaina is too OP and they can’t write her properly in events.
Dalaran was doomed regardless. That was the whole point of Medivh going around trying to convince the Alliance to leave to Kalimdor. Only Jaina listened. Because of her listening to Medivh, The forces of Azeroth were able to hold off Archimonde long enough for Malfurions trap to happen. If it was just the Night Elves and the Horde, Hyjal would’ve been a Legion victory.
So to try and frame that Dalaran falling to the Scourge was solely on Jaina not being present is just plain false.
She is Lord Admiral of Kul Tiras. She is no longer part of the Kirin Tor. Not since she left at the start of Legion when the council allowed the Horde back in the city.
This one is weird. She is present in the scenario but Blizzard just removes her from the cinematic. And they have never gave a reason why.
She also ran when she should have died at the end of Dazar’alor. The problem is that Blizzard keeps setting her up to die, and then refusing to let it happen at the last moment. The Horde should have gotten to kill her at the end of Dazar’alor for invading the Zandalari capital.
Maybe because it was obvious that the continent was doomed? She was literally told by the Guardian, whose power she could sense, that the only hope for salvation lay west.
That just makes her wiser and more proficient at sensing powerful magics than King Terenas, Prince Arthas, and even her mentor Arch-magus Antonidas.
Varian literally chose to stay behind.
Fan-fiction based on an ambiguous teaser, yawn.
I thought you people had learned your lessons after “Noooo Sylvanas can’t have burned the tree, look at the teaser, look at her pose in the teaser like she’s shocked of what happened, nooo! but the teaser!!!”
Jaina is too powerful to be around every event, and tbf, so is Khadgar. So the plot always removes her. Apparently in legion she was offscreen fighting demons.
Basically like Malfurion, every time the plot would be solved by their presence, the plot has to remove them.
Because she is a Dreadlord obviously! (Joking I wish!)
Joking aside she has been acting off to be sure… but I think it’s just the writing, like mention before they written her so powerful that I think it’s too hard to add her to a story were she can literally wipe almost any anything with a Sneeze.
My Alliance friends treat her as a literal meme in the story they started calling her Lord Admireme of Kareville (don’t ask me how one of our females friends who despises her character and always complain about her when she is force to take quest or see her again and again in the last few expansions, came up with the name, this the most tame or less unhinge… but it was fun and it stuck with the group! lol)
Teasing and joking to the side my friends and I are still curious how Xal will deal with one of Azeroth most powerful mages if not the most powerful… aside from maybe Azshara or maybe Thalyssra now that she been fully cure and charge for a while. Thalyssra has never been shown how powerful she is beyond her noticeable Arcane Knowledge, that IMO was has been show how she created those magic messages to find her and she was the only person who ask Jaina about her “peculiar” magic display in BfA with the flying ship.
Sadly this is not just the case for Jaina… I think alliance character will never see being axe by Horde… unless they go mad, written of going full 180 evil like what happened with Keal’thas (And written off in Revendreth paying for his sins and arrogance) or are literal Dreadlords which would put to rest Talanji grudge against the Alliance. (IMO)
Same reason they have to write Malfurion out of everything, even the official emerald dream patch itself. Or how Nozdormu’s vision is always (in)conveniently cloudy.
They made OP superhero characters that are poison to a narrative with anything remotely resembling stakes.
So… they have to either not use them, or give their supermen some kryptonite.
When Varian gave the order to retreat (via the gunship) and Genn barking (no pun intended) it out to the rest of the Alliance, Jaina mass-teleported the majority of the Alliance forces aboard the ship (offscreen) with Varian and the other stragglers climbing aboard the rope ladders. The strain of teleporting so many people at once coupled with the enormous amount of energy she expended in the battle against the endless wave of demons may have exhausted her so much that she wasn’t able to teleport Varian back aboard the gunship after he leapt off of it to take out the giant fel reaver that was hampering their escape.
