Why does horde hate Void Elfs?

I don’t like or dislike them. I nothing them.

It would not be as bad if they didn’t share so many cosmetics.

On the plus side the creation of Void Elves really ended any chance of a High Elf allied race being created!

void elves are literally traitors to the horde
it’s a bit natural for them to dislike void elves

for a non lore reason, it’s most likely the one that was mentioned by the people you talked to, uniqueness, which i find weird

i personally don’t like them because it enabled the more obnoxious members of the high elf community and made them behave like they’re entitled to whatever they ask for, which is childish

Your kin is getting hate because your kin is trying to be a High elf.

People don’t dislike void elves, people dislike the people that clamoured and harrassed blizzard to make them what they are not, high elves.

At best they’re just traitors to the Horde. At worst they’re elves corrupted by the literal Void and can turn against us at any given moment. I did find it rather funny how quickly just were just accepted into the Alliance when they’re heavily infused with the same energy that gave birth to the Old Gods, or that SI:7 wasn’t involved in the case of double agents.

I have no dog in this fight but I get their anger

I want Ogres but I would be pretty pissed off too if they give Mok’nathal instead

Do they hate void elves or do they hate void elf players?

I like Void Elves, my only criticism is that they came out of no where and were made up on the spot. I want more lore for them.

Nobodies mad about the Nightborne being a mutate version of Night Elves because they are ugly.

I would fight for both to be playable.

I’ve never seen this, tbh. I think most of them don’t have a problem with Void Elves. They have problems with the High Elf club that wants everything the Blood Elves have.

Which is quite understandable. Void Elves > Other Thalassian Elves.

I support Mok’nathal only as customization option for Orcs and Ogres…not as a separate race

Fair.

For the record I couldn’t be more indifferent to the existence of void elves if I tried.

Just wish they had a better backstory.

Blood elves are pretty much inferior to void elves now.
Void elves come with 2 visual themes. Void and high elf.
Blood elves have 1. High elf.

The only difference between the high elf options are hair styles.

Makes sense horde players would be unhappy about that.

Add on to that, that so many high elf fans keep trying to get more options for themselves.
Including the Blood elf hairs.

Its not a shocker that people would take issue with this.

I feel bad for blood elf fans.
Their uniqueness as a playable race got destroyed so hard that there is no way to ever come back from it

Nobody harassed Blizzard into the customizations.

Ummmm, no we don’t. If anything, it makes us willing to play Alliance.

Really wish they responded to worgen tail customization thread

10k + replies…I salute their patience for continuing the fight

Oh, same here. I am still waiting for Worgen to have tails.

Truth be told, I can’t tell the difference between blood elves and most void elves.

They’re basically alliance and horde blood elves, it’s just that the alliance blood elves have the option to become a bit edgier.

I’m more upset about alliance getting a second version of space goats, in shiny, but nobody is playing them.

I always wanted to have a space goat on horde side, but alliance gets two of them, neither of which is being played?

That’s just rude.

Would you like Man’ari eredars as playable race for horde ?
