Blizz handled this whole thing so poorly. They should have given the Alliance High Elves, they could have been made to look different enough, then added the Void idea through Alleria.
Are Silverwing Sentinels/League of Arator etc show fighting in their respective battlegrounds? No, but the assumption is these guys recruiting also have forces from their respective race/faction leading said charged. There is a reason all the battleground masters(with a few exception) are the race of the specific faction leading the charge!
And in Wintergrasp’s case, it is clearly the Silver Covenant taking charge.
Another big example to use and actually, quite recently, is the Horde and Alliance. Are they neutral to each other now because they worked together to stop Sylvanas and the Jailer?
Since you are literally doing nothing except derailing the topic and trash talking this will be my final reply to you but again, I could careless what Void Elves get because I don’t main one, I do however support my friend Fenelon’s Void Elf customization thread for Void Elves and there’s really nothing you can do about it, so go ahead and hate me, I’m not going to lose sleep over it and take care.
While I like the Nightborne I would have preferred the Void Elves be Horde just so both the Void and Light ARs weren’t on the same faction though factions are becoming less and less important now so it may not matter.
dude the sc/sunreaver wintergrasp portals doesnt mean they are leading the charge for faction war. are we going to be talking about wrath still 5 expansions from now? 10? another 15 years of the game and this is still all you people have?
Many of the high elf fans supported unique customizations for alliance high elves, even made their own customizations on the megathread. New tattoos, models, hairstyles etc. But yeah they muddled them down with pulling void elves out of their butt.
Helfers rarely call out any bad behavior from other helfers. I was sexually harassed by one and people who I had thought were my friends at one point took the harassers side because I don’t blindly support bad actions just because I at one time wanted high elves.
I joined the anti discord when I still wanted high elves by the way, and met great people who have been there for me through a lot and who stand up for me regardless of differences in opinion over elves in a game.
I am not saying they were leading the charge for the faction war, I am saying they were leading the charge/getting people to fight for Wintergrasp.
also, who care if it was 5 expansions ago? The point is to show you that you are wrong. That the Silver Covenant is purposefully designed not to be neutral and was actively part of several faction conflicts.
Look on the bright side now you can play dress up and pretend to be something that you aren’t, while still bleeding a different color and glowing blue.
