Both root the user right? What do you guys think?
Edit:
Made this thread so we can get some critical thinking on demolish beyond," it roots so it’s bad."
Very good responses so far,
I agree with increasing range or increasing it’s immunities as being areas to potentially adjust

Yes, but also makes you immune to knocks and stuns. Tradeoffs

The range on eyebeam is much larger and directional. Demolish is a very small range (for PvP) around the character, add in base movement speed being very fast due to enchants/talents you can see why Demolish is kind of primitive

sounds like something that could be an optional talent node
immune to stuns/knocks or increase range by 5 yards. i bet most people would choose range

True. The demon hunters have sacrificed everything. What have warriors given?

Lotta whiny forum posts
I think a lot of people THINK they would, but then they’d mald when the button would be literally useless vs any team with a mage/rogue/druid/shaman XD

True. This is actually very similar to monk’s new CJL thing. I have seen a few people complaining about CJL’s healing now, but any good team I face instantly micro CCs me during it. Psychic Horror, Storm Bolt, pet stun, etc. Warriors would be even easier since they’re in melee
Being able to simply walk out of range even with a snare on means it’s only effective when the target is locked down. This also makes it highly telegraphed making it easy to counter it.
On the other side if they made it easier to land it would need a sizeable damage reduction.

Why not just buff the warrior kit that is performing well instead of trying to boost a giant Diablo-esque hammer of the ancients that will not be viable?
True, but warrior also absolutely has the tools to enable demolish itself between spear, bolt, and shockwave.
