Why does everybody think

it’s really not that deep, man. people just want customization options.

realistically if any one member of xyz race looks a certain way, chances are there are multiple. why can’t a darkspear look like a zandalari, or an amani?

people don’t care about the justification, and neither does blizzard. realistically, there’s more lore for the jinyu and hozen joining the factions than any of the pandaren, and yet here we are.

why not have some amani defector join the factions? why not give them the same treatment as the earthen and dracthyr and make them emissaries instead of sworn allies?

you mean like how they had the night elves and blood elves, two diametrically opposed races since the sundering, suddenly decide that it’s in both of their best interests to stop clashing because they both have long ears and they have to do something about xal’atath peeing in the pool?

very bold of you to say after calling people children throughout your entire wall of text

We don’t need the Amani trolls right this second.
But the Amani Darkspear customizations they gave us instead was almost insulting.

That’s actually a pretty fair point. They do need to do better about the customization options. Just like I agree with people needing to go and put tails on the worgen. I don’t know why they didn’t have tails to begin with. That would have been awesome

It’s just the writers’ ‘power of friendship’ feminine writing where everyone has to ultimately learn how to be friendz in the endz. Makes the world boring.

It’s more than that. You have to remember that this is a fight for the last Titan, hey Kaylee, the world soul of azeroth. Remember the world soul can be turned into pretty much anything, it could become another void creature, it could become another Titan, and I think theoretically it could become another nauru? I’m not sure how that one works, but I think that’s true? Anyways, they’re fighting over which new entity is going to be born into the universe and change the balance.

It’s more than just the night elves and the blood elves making amends after thousands and thousands and thousands of years, because they never really hated each other. They you just disagreed on what kind of magics were okay to use because of Queen azshara And all that burning legion nonsense.

Again, this is about looking at the bigger Cosmic picture. There’s no more fighting in the mud with sticks, it’s fighting together with people. You once thought were your enemies, but it turns out you actually have a lot more things in common.
And that if we don’t work together, literally all of existence will be torn apart…

That’s what I’m talking about with these people saying they want the war back in Warcraft and all this other stuff, it’s not really taking the war back in. It’s just reducing and minimizing the war to the level of like a 14-year-old kids logic and understanding.

That’s ten points for me, thank you.

It’s not bold of me to say that I’m preparing myself for all the disingenuous arguments that people are going to bring out because they like to read between the lines, without double spacing.

And I was right. When people act like a 14-year-old, talk like a 14-year-old, and have expectations set at a 14-year-old level, it’s really hard to not call them children.

Just like I’m sure it’s really hard to not call me a rude name for being slightly ornery to people…

Everybody doesn’t think that. A very vocal group of maybe a few hundred or even a thousand people in the forums push that idea but that’s a few hundred out of millions of players.

It is a fraction of 1% of the player base, not everybody.

the vast majority of npcs don’t know about that yet. the radiant song is only something magni, the haranir (main character nepo baby race btw), and a select few need-to-knows know about

even umbric, our current authority on cosmic powers, can’t fathom why xal’atath wanted to pump a bunch of void critters into the earth

we fought for the sunwell and pushed back the twilight’s blade because to most azerothians it was framed as a showdown of the void against the light, not some great cosmic struggle for the fate of the world soul

I mean this expansion also has every faction of elves casually reconciling thousands of years of differences after a single diplomatic conversation as a side quest. The writers and devs are hacks. lol

Not sure that’s quite true, the Horde did want them before but Zul’jin didn’t want to ally with those that would ally with Blood/high elves. By now I’m pretty sure they would still be willing to invite them with the tensions between blood elves and amani being at their lowest with the amani even sending reinforcements to the sunwell.

As for making all races playable to me they should simply merge them in with playable race, I don’t see why a higmountain tauren and a tauren cannot simply be under the same race option and let players have more cosmetic options.

As far as having the war in warcraft that’s simply the nature of the world even if the war isn’t Alliance vs Horde. And even if there is no war between them that doesn’t mean they agree on everything and that they won’t try to appropriate ressources the other has.

Its not better writing lol first off

Yeah, because we’re in the middle of a war. Why would they share every benefit of information with every new Ally, especially one that they think might be allied with the void?

You don’t disseminate information accurately to people that you don’t trust fully.

the ONLY races we need are murlocs, kobolds and w/e the flip hogger is i forgot lol i think a gnoll

this falls apart when people we do trust fully (lor’themar and umbric mainly) don’t have the full picture

“hey, turalyon, xalatath doesnt care about the light, she just wants in the ley lines under the city and the whole questline we had about light and void being two sides of the same force means its easiest for her to do it at the big light fountain”

suddenly we have a much better way to approach and combat the threat (khadgar has been known to manipulate ley lines, i wonder why xal took him out of commission? hmmm), but they didn’t want to because blizzard can’t write goodly and they need to manufacture menace around the ignorance of the main characters

I would love a Kobold race, okay let’s get a cave expansion that makes sense lol.

I think all the troll types should be represented in both body and skin tones since BfA. They’re all present in Zandalar and assumedly answer to Talanji. I think it is lazy of Blizzard to not add more race and customization options, especially for races that have been in the franchise since the RTS games. The fact Blizzard says they can’t come up with creative ideas for playable ogres is also lazy. Not having furbolg be one of the first Alliance allied races was also lazy to me. There are so many great races and sub races that have been in the game forever but instead we get haranir.

Because in a living world MMO where choices should be available and where races have worked with us off and on…
Why not want MORE???
