with how little mythic raiding is rewarded anymore with gear why not at least have a mount at the end of each mythic raid, every pvp season the gladiators get a mount it seems like the least blizz could do
it seems silly to me that Mythic KJ the literal hardest boss ever in the game didnt drop a mount.

Raid mounts have kind of lost there luster a bit. The reason I can see and it is just speculation is that unless the raid mount is of a limited type of mount like the infernos or a very detailed reskin most people don’t seem to care to much about it.
I guess you could tie a mount to every raid but boy that is a lot of mounts.
i mean 1 per raid tier isnt that much, thats like 4 max per Xpac
the reason is hardly anyone will get those mounts and they dont like spending a lot of time on stuff like that.
there are other mounts like that already, but they have to draw a line somewhere. plus a mythic raid mount should be cool and not just a minor reskin

It def can act as an incentive , the only incentive in fact. I raided SoO on heroic 25man just to get the mount. Best freaking mount in the game if you ask me. I love my mechanical death scorpion.
The glad mounts (top what 0.1%?) have consistently had equal to if not more detail than the raid mounts. The outlier here is probably the M Argus mount, but the infernal mounts for Nighthold were a reskin of the gronn mounts, albeit a GOOD reskin.
As of RIGHT NOW 467 guilds have killed Ghuun. If no new guilds killed Ghuun and they all recleared every week, that is still about 4000 mounts circulating before the next raid tier which I am fairly certain is higher than the glad number. That isn’t even accounting for the fact that raid bosses that drop mythic mounts have a 100% drop rate until X.0 of the next expansion. My friend’s guild sold Guldan mounts all the way up until prepatch of BfA.
It is kind of crazy that Uldir doesn’t have a Mythic mount if I am being honest, oh well though
i did say there were other mounts that hardly any one gets. i guess they dont want to make too many of those
I imagine it has to do with the fact that designing a themed mount for every single raid is annoying, if something fits and they think of it that seems to be when they do. Iron Juggernaut being a mount for example, they literally just used his assets and made it a mount, which is still freakin awesome but I think more raid mounts would only be a good thing.
Due to top guild selling carries and making a lot of $$/gold from selling those mounts before the next patch.

Not really. M+ makes up more of my gear than raiding. It’s even worse since set bonuses were removed.
That’s because Mythic + isn’t capped weekly. Mythic raiding still drops amazing gear.
You as a HORDIE would get a Dinosaur. As and alliance we would just get another HORSE. So who cares.
His Raider IO score sucked so they took it away from his loot satchel …KJ better get his bum in gear
