Why does every hunter use a ravager?

Not me, I’ve got Humar the Pridelord

I usually use cats on my hunters. There was a birb I used, from outside of Theramore on one of them, but it’s not in this game version.

I tried the wind serpent, because I hate ravagers, and didn’t care for that one either, so now I’m using Echeyakee on my BE Hunter this time around. I usually skipped out on him, before they normalized the pet speed. Back before everyone knew where to get them, I used the ghost figurine cat from darkshore.

I think people prefer ravages because they are a little more STABLE ayyyyy lmfao

So sad most hunters are meta slaves.

By this reasoning you shouldnt go from pre BIS to BIS on many pieces cause most are just a 10-20 dps upgrade…

Lets just all stop raiding cause the upgrade is only 10dps!!!
/facepalm

Yep, I sure did. But then I’m not a min max zoomer pumping sweatshop. :smile_cat:

Male gnome train and laugh. My Classic main was a male gnome mage. Reason, the emotes. At times I wish the male human looked better, I love their jokes.

As to the OP, pick the pet you like, enjoy the game.

If hunters want to use a ravager, fine.

but ffs, give it a name besides just leaving it as “Ravager”

that just screams fotm roller

Gore just does more damage on average than claw, that’s it. It’s a small difference so use a cat if you prefer. So long as you don’t use a pet that has less than 1.3 damage scalling like cats and ravagers.

Still uses the silver back gorrilla from STV. It has an excellent AOE that slows mobs and doesnt annoy tanks if I leave it on. Tho I do ask if they want it turned off.

hunter vs world video series used a boar for charge stun.
boars are just that much better.

I use a cat! Why? because it’s different, I feel like I am more immersed in a role play experience.

I tamed a white Winterspring cat and so far in Outland I think I’m the only one who has one, I love it.

there’s actually a lot of leveling guides that have tricks like this, dying and taking sickness is faster than the run time, etc etc

So yes I would

If I decide to level my Hunter up in TBC, I will stick with my “Mist Howler” wolf & go Survival spec because it’s the most fun spec to play IMO. Tween e-sport parsing be damned.

Got a ravager named Kyle. He slams Monster energy and punches drywall. It was saddening to replace Karen the wolf but she’s happy back in Azeroth furiously howling at the managers.
