Why does DH still have a mortal strike?

Talking about DF.

They already have:

  • top tier single target and cleave damage
  • high mobility
  • various instant CC with different diminishing returns and gaining aoe fear
  • strong self healing with leech, fodder and the hunt
  • utility like reverse magic and darkness
  • a purge which the only other melee that has one being gutter tier enhance

I mean, they basically have it all…surely if they are going to do all this, they can at least NOT have a MS? Or tone down their damage since they’re getting more and more CC and self healing.

Same reason why stuff like shadowy duel is in the game, rogues given dismantle back, fire mage having 3 spell schools with major abilities from the other schools, etc.

And have a dampening aura of 50% static for RBGs.
