This is just adding more sharding into the game. Why can’t we just have one game world where everyone is there? I hate it so much it makes me just not want to play at all.
And get no quest mobs or herbs / ore because everybody is picking it clean all the time? No thanks
Who cares about gathering nodes in old content?
@OP: its the same reason why they removed sub-50 access to the group finder and disabled access to general chat in chromie time. They want you to level alone. They don’t want you to get help. They don’t want you to help your friends. That is degenerate gameplay and will be eradicated.

Lol old content mats sell all the time, I leveled through wod, wraith, bc on a few different chrs and sold all of the mats. They sold within a few hours.
sharding is honestly the worst thing blizzard has ever added. I dont know how anyone can defend it.

Are you seriously trying to tell me there’s a shortage of nodes in old content that means there are no mats? I’ve never had any issues leveling gathering.
And trying to craft a few pieces of gear for your collection does not require massive amounts of mats.
I think phasing is even worse.

Phasing or sharding? Those are different things.
Typically phasing is related to timelines and completed quests. Like if you need to turn in a quest from MoP into king varian, and there is no phasing, you’re going to have some trouble…
Sharding just mini-spun up servers to spread populations out.
I don’t know if it’s making new phases or a new shard for those players. It’s all the same to me, while mechanically a different system, it creates the same experience.
