Those pink(?) potions he drops on the ground heal for a significant chunk if you walk over them.

Because they stealth nerfed him. He no longer heals you on self damage, and the internal cooldown for potions was drastically increased… I believe.

Out of curiosity, what level is your Bran OP, and what tier delves are you attempting?

What is your ilvl?
What level delve are you in?
What level is Brann?
If you are ilvl 580 in a +8 with lvl 30 Brann he isn’t going to be able to keep you alive.
Brann at 45+ is a great healer in +8 as long as you are 590+.
Brann does fine once he is leveled up with all 4/4 max level curios.

Depends on class and spec. My prot war was able to it at ilevel 532 with a 30 brann. I haven’t done it with a non tank melee class but I’d imagine at 580 it would work fine if you rotate def CDs effectively.
Edit: but yes, to discuss delves effectively, you need to be clear about all those variables, otherwise you’re just not speaking the same language as others on the forum.

Unfortunately when it’s user error you are going to be told it’s user error. I don’t know what else you want from the forums. Other players on here are not going to be able to do anything for you beyond telling you how to correct the error, such as using the right curios and walking over the potions when you need them and not when you’re already at full health wasting them. If you feel like his potions aren’t effective enough use the curio that gives him a chance to throw out a new potion when you pick one up. It’s easily the best curio for having Brann as a healer. Also, try to only pull what you can handle because Brann isn’t a player who is going to spam heals on you. He’s a bot with extremely limited options to help you heal yourself with, it’s up to you as the player to know when and how to use the tools he has.

I mean, in this case that’s basically it though.
Brann throws potions near you. You walk over them when you want to be healed. It’s designed like that to give you control over when you take those heals.
If you’re not getting healed, you’re not walking over the potions.

Brann only heals people he likes. For example, he doesn’t heal me but he heals my delving partner all the time. He’ll let me die, tell me to dodge as my body is swallowed by flames and throw him the big yellow heal right after.

He only does a small amount of healing automatically, most of his healing will come from the red potions he throws on the ground 3 at a time. Those give a burst of strong healing and a stacking heal over time effect. I believe they disappear after 20 seconds and he throws them every 25. If you time it carefully you can maintain up to 10 stacks of the HoT and be nearly invulnerable save for one-shots.

People were pointing out how pathetically worthless his DPS was compared to his healing.
So instead of fixing his DPS, they nerfed his healing. Something literally no one wanted.
You keep saying that, but I’m not seeing it.
They made several adjustments to delves (including Brann) back and forth in the first week or two, but I’ve noticed no difference since.
I’m running eight tier 8s a week on my Frost Mage, and I’m never using Ice Block. You Counterspell casters when it’s up, but most of the time you end up eating them because it’s on CD and you aren’t close enough for Dragon’s Breath. And his healing keeps up easily.
Brann’s heals are fine. They’ve been fine.

Bran mostly tosses tiny little flasks you have to step on to heal you. It’s another example of Blizz creating delves for 1% elitist mythic raiders rather than the average player.
How so? Walking over bright red things on the ground is elite level play? If you can dodge swirlies, you can step on pots, I would think.
