These are all minor face popups. Nothing major lorewise. We just get to be side characters to further the plot of other people.
âAn extension of Sylvanasâ
< Points to Lillian and all other free will, non-loyalist Forsaken company.
The issue with the blood elves is how they closed their prinsipal arch in BC they no longer have a pending conflict even though they have had smaller arches and secondary appearances.
even so they have had development and it looks like they will have it later the same pads with the fozakken they have opened a new plot.
Give it some time. Youâll probably get some Night Elf story progression in the next expansion. Iâd also like to point out that logically if your entire city gets burned down and many of your people die youâre probably going to need time to recover from that. The burning of Teldrassil gives the Night Elves a reason to get revenge now so they arenât just going to be attacking just for the sake of attacking. Plenty of races havenât had a big role in the story either itâs just how it goes when you have so many races, I think that Nelves should get some interesting story soon though hopefully.
Grass is always greener, eh?
If you said this BEFORE Legion, i would have to agree with you but in Legion and now here in BfA we did get some developments story wise finally after so long. Hopefully we have gotten past lovesick pining of Legion which was terrible and are moving more toward who they were in WC3. I think we will see even more soon.
Not going to lie i lolâd.
Edit: and letâs be honest, it is not just the Night Elves that got shorted, the Draenei were a placeholder race for almost a decade. But at least for the time being i am hoping we are past ALL ORC STORY ALL THE TIME. I mean we just ended the movie of Saurfang, hopefully everyone else can have some limelight.
I think they should give the alliance the helm of history and have tyrande at least in regards to the hunt for Sylvanas and his loyalists.
On the side of the horde you can give that task to Bob and the Forzaken.
Their vengeance was, according to the developers, achieved when Tyrande killed that valâkyr in Darkshore. Sheâs now been consumed by it to the point that the entire Army of the Black Moon has gone rogue, and no one can get in contact with them.
And the public give a negative feddback
Seriously? The devs count that as vengeance? Killing the entire Valâkyr race I could at least see as acceptable vengeance but on Valâkyr? I can see why some people think the devs hate the Nelves then lmaoâŠ
the public night elf and the alliance in general need to get up, not kicked on the ground.
Trials and tribulations are typically good for character development, and people often complained The Night Elves became stagnant in the lore.
Now? The Night Elves lost their home and have been made a gods vengeance. Tyrande has stopped answering Anduin, clearly she no longer has desire to aid The Alliance.
Go sit next to Night Elf NPCs in Stormwind, they are angry the war has ended, their leader tells them not to worry, The Night Warrior has not forgotten.
I get it, losing Teldrassil sucks, but stop looking at it as Blizzard spitting in your face and look at it more as Blizzard actually giving Night Elves progressing lore.
Their role of getting completely annihilated is already fulfilled in BfA.
Well devs said we already got our revenge so I mustâve missed that.
Also to say Blizzard hates Night Elves is very disingenuous.
The amount of Night Elf lore, and brancing Night Elf lore that went into Legion is baffling to be honest.
Sorry, but I canât look at Valâsarah and say Blizzard hates Night Elves.
Well, considering that the night elves in the alliance have had nothing but misery since vanilla, maybe itâs time for them to leave the alliance?
The Night Elves have always supported the alliance, yet when they needed help they never got it from the other alliance races.
You should just quite the game or race change to horde.
I love them very much so I burn them alive and leave them parked on a war front.
Why would I do that?
Why would I want to play as disgusting villains?
Seems to be what the current story is hinting.
Or at least a sub-faction of them. Tyrande is out. Not answering political missives from the High King is a clear statement.
She had no interest in aiding The Horde, nor The Alliance. Which is good.
So you can have something to be happy about.
