Greetings Transmog community. So, the reason I’m asking this question is because of a general rule I follow. If it doesn’t match the icons, and its not a raid tier or gladiator set, I don’t go for it. However, due to this rule, there have been a couple of elite pvp sets that I simply cannot aquire anymore due to them being unobtainable. In fact, in the last expansion known as Dragonflight, my Shaman had 2 elite pvp sets and they were the only two I couldnt aquire for my character because they are currently unobtainable. They were also hard as heck to get for anyone that just wants to mog them after the season is over. Blizzard’s art team has done this to other classes in the past as well, not just Shaman, and all I want to know is… why? Just… why? I mean to be real it might not matter to most or almost all of the transmog community, but to people like me, it’s just frustrating. If any of you know the answer or want to share your feelings of frustration, let me know. I’m about to farm some tier sets for this character.
Only the developers know the answers to “why” questions, and they aren’t sharing.
It always amuses me how old tiers and stuff and even new armor mogs have some of the nicest looking armor icons… but half the time DON’T correspond to the look of the icon.
I know right. Like, when demon hunters came out, and they were the main character of the expansion both tier 20 and 21 had icons based on elite pvp gear. It makes zero sense.
