And hate the Alliance? Please just leave us alone on the next war you artificially want us to be fighting each other.

Just give the Horde their first place trophy right away and move on to the next expansion.

It’s more that they’ve lost how to write Faction stories. They need to have continued Legion’s class halls.

Whoever decided to go Faction war again made a terrible mistake.

I don’t think they love the Horde that much, but from their actions they definately hate the Alliance. You don’t make this many stupid decisions just by being “out of the loop”

  • Kul Tirans - “I know you wanted Vrykul but… this is good right? Fat guys?”
  • Void Elves - “I know you wanted High Elves but… this is good right? Blood Elves, but they risked their lives for the power of the Void that turns them blue! WOW”
  • Lightforged -“They are Draenei but… they hate demons! What do you mean Draenei already hate demons?”
  • Mechagnomes - “I can be bothered keeping up this farce anymore… F U Alliance! - Blizzard”

Void Elves are the most played Allied Race, I don’t think I would put that on the list of proof they hate Alliance.

Yeah Void Elves mean they love the Alliance and hate the Horde. Tell me how many “compromise” races did the Horde get? How many races did they get that mean their actual wanted races are probably off the table now?

But they just had to think really hard about what the Horde REALLY is after how the Horde found about what it REALLY was about in MoP.

I think they are trying to compensate for the fact that new devs didn’t have the thrilling opportunity to develop a LOLWHATEVER faction war in which one faction is gimped with evil and another faction is gimped with stupidity.

Don’t worry, it will be the alliance’s turn next when they turn Tyrande into a villain and then probably kill her off. And I just love that the reason she’s giving the other leaders is, “but it’s the HORDE, of COURSE they’re going to attack us again ONE DAY in the future because they always do so let’s just do it first!” which was, you know, the exact same reason Sylvanas just used to attack the night elves. Instead of her saying “uh Sylvanas wiped out my people and destroyed our home, I want vengeance so I can hang her head from the gates of Stormwind” or something.

If there’s no good reason to keep this stupid faction war nonsense, it’s time to just end it and move on to other storylines already.

I can’t wait for the moment where a random Cat notices Tyrande thinking bad about the Horde and it turns out it’s a transformed Troll Druid who reports to Zappyboi and Thrall.

Sylvanas is immediately summoned with apologies and she theorizes that Tyrande’s thoughts are enough to incite her 4d war and the faction war begins.

I think a lot of their story issues come from certain traditions that they refuse to move away from coupled with this problem of not actually wanting to make that much dialogue. I mean they treat like a 2 page paper’s worth of a dialogue sufficient for a patch story. That isn’t enough to build up any nuance that you need in a faction story.

The lazy effort into the story has slowly gone down into other features:

  1. Allied “RACES”. a.k.a lazier than Twitch copypastas.
  2. Azerite System. a.k.a Netherlight Crucible copypasted into new title and stuff.
