Yet again, frost DK gets nerfed into the ground. We were doing great, and not too great where it was ridiculous like some other classes, and boom, nerf hammer into the ground. Why? Why continually favor and rebuff unholy, and kill frost? It was bad enough when you took the choice for us to use 2 handers away basically, but this is getting ridiculous. Multiple expansions in a row now too. Blizzard hates frost DK and loves unholy more than Roger Goodell hates the Steelers and loves the Chiefs. And for those who dont k ow what im talking about, frost DK got nerfed recently to the tune of 30-ish%.

Also, frost dk is doing fine in pve. What are you on about?

What nerf are we seeing now? I havent kept up to date but i know in m+ i am doing consderably more damage than those 10-20 ilvls higher and in raids they are looking to be in the top 5
There is nothing on wowhead. So I have no idea what OP is referring to.
FDK is doing mostly fine and have been in RWF lineups. Two FDKs for Broodtwister infact. Our single target could use some tuning though and there hasn’t been any nerfs this week.

Well, this post was a spectacular way to show you have no idea how to play a FDK. They’re crushing it to the point of being stacked for some fights in the RWF, and yet you’re still whining. People like you are why the devs are right to fully ignore class forums.

Yeah they don’t hate Frost DK. The only boss fight where I didn’t see a single DK of any kind was Nexus Princess because limited number of melee slots for that fight and the mobility needed is insane. It’s going to be heavily nerfed after RWF is over.

I mean, Unholy Rider has amazing mobility with way higher damage than other melee while moving. Both tier bonuses want you to build for minions + your diseases and death coil all do damage at range.
Unholy can do it’s entire opener while running to the boss lol
Pretty much every boss plays great for Frost otherwise. Look at Broodtwister and Silken Court for example. Queen also has periodic AoE burst phases. Frost Fever, Torrent and Exterminate are some of the highest damage sources for the last few bosses.
Aren’t the top 10 parses on wow logs all frost DK?

The DPS required was so tight and the mobility needed is huge on Nexus Princess. I don’t think a single group of the top 3 guilds took one of any kind. They were still hitting enrage on the reclear.
Like I said that’s really the only fight where one wasn’t brought. Blizzard doesn’t hate any class so people on these forums really need to chill out with the “Blizzard hates us!” Narrative.
Pop Death’s Advance and you trivialise the entire portal mechanic. Straight up pop the skill and ignore it. As for the intermission you barely have to move that much, its mostly position adjustment. Might be anecdotes because I had a grand total of 0 difficulty in that fight.
As for OP, you are delulu.
Go and tell the people that actually killed it on mythic that you know better.

Really bad in PVP, that’s ultimately why I went Rogue instead. I still play DK, but it’s Blood/Unholy.
Your slow costs a resource and a GCD, so you can’t stop people and burst at the same time lol. After they trinket your only root, you have to start spamming Chains/Grip, they both cost GCD and the other is a Rune, so you’re just GCD locked for like 6 seconds straight trying to chase someone down who is destroying you while kiting, then if you finally close the gap, you now have no runes. Good players will know this too.
They will wait for your AMS to fall off then you just start eating CCs while doing no damage. GG.

Huh? Why are we worried about what the first three guilds ran? None of us here play at that level.
I always find it funny when people think that what happens in the top guilds in the world is applicable to people who post on the forums.
This whole thread is about people thinking Blizzard hates Frost DK, Frost specifically being brought to basically everything but 1 boss on mythic flies in the face of that narrative.
I don’t it funny when people don’t actually follow the thread, jump in, and then look like a fool.
