I enjoy twinking because I work 70 hours a week and want to have toons I can actually max out for their bracket, since I can’t keep up with gearing each expansion and season then I pvp with those twinks.
Sure it might be a nightmare for non twinks in these twink dominated battlegrounds but you’re just “tourists” in there. I pay to twink since I am an “essential” worker delivering freight as an OTR driver. I can’t dedicate more than 2 hours a day to gaming usually and have more than a mediocre geared toon, but I can make a mean twink.
because it ruins experience for new/leveling players. Not sure they exist or even participate in pvp on those levels. But if they did this would ruin it.
I thought they got their only little twink bg they claimed they wanted until it actually happened and they couldn’t find queues and weren’t smashing the competition when they finally got in and cried about it.
There was a theory about why they killed twinking. It allowed people to skip all the fun content they released in BfA that is designed around padding MAUs.
When did they “get in”? Its been brought up many times that even with 20+ twinks (10 alliance/10 horde) in the same bracket signing up for the same battleground the queue does not pop.
What they should have done is balanced the outliers instead of throwing on this lazy band-aid and pretending everything is suddenly better.
Its even more hilarious that they allow high levels to farm lower brackets using party sync.
I absolutely hate the max-level gear grind. I just want to log on and queue.
Blizzard should really recombine xp on and off queues, but reinstate templates for low-level PvP. That’d stop people from twinking. Enchants don’t work, 10 ilvls is only 1 ilvl bonus in instanced PvP.
