Why does Blizz allow this?

So, I’m running heroic raids with my guild. We’re on jadefire masters. We make it till the end of the fight when the pair transform. Then our group gets teleported to the monks and everyone wipes.

I wanna gear fast so I can pvp. Don’t care about raiding. Raid Finder is good enough for me. So I have been thinking about buying runs from one of the many advertisers in chat. I whisper them and most direct to an external site where you pay real money for runs… Why doesn’t Blizz crack down on this? It would be easy to implement a in game system for those wanting to pay gold for a raid while banning those who are selling runs for real cash. Does anyone have any idea where I can find guilds to run me through mythic raid for gold?

Drop Limit a tell. I hear they do that sort of thing.

You’ve basically got to get lucky. If someone asks you to pay real money, report them. Other than that, things like selling runs fall under what Blizzard considers unsupported transactions. They’re not against the rules but they’re not something that Blizz wants to encourage or will help you with if they screw you over.

Game services for cash is a big no-no, please report it whenever you find it.

Buying a run for gold is acceptable though.

Unless Blizzard acts as the middle man that is. Game services for cash are definitely a thing, you just have to pay for a token first.

shoot, i spend five minutes in SW and i see spam for-gold runs all over the place. :dizzy_face: i suppose you could just announce in chat that you are looking for a mythic run and to whisper you with their quote?

NA side for alliance, you’ve got 1 guild that’s capable, otherwise it will be a while before there’s more carry groups available.

I don’t understand why people buy runs to begin with period, whether it be gold or cash. But that is neither here nor there.

But to answer your question Blizzard doesn’t allow this to happen and they do crack down on it, but they can only react when someone tells them it is happening. If you see a site selling things in game for real cash report them.

They don’t allow it, but they actually can’t police every single advertiser for carries to pick out which ones are doing it for gold and which are doing it for money. They would have to sit in chat almost all of the time and actually message each seller (the ones asking for money don’t put it in their ad).

So… we have to report them.

Don’t know if my group is bad or if I don’t have the skill. But I don’t care for 1shot gotcha mechanics in raids like 7 sided strike. Just want gear so I can start pvping. My skill level is raid finer. Otherwise there are too many annoying and stupid mechanics in raids. i’d rather pay for run and get all the loot under 3 hours.

I am sorry i wasn’t trying to put you on the spot or say you were wrong, I am not going to say your right or wrong on how you want to play your game. i just was saying I don’t understand. I know how you feel my wife hates raiding for lots of reasons, she helps when we are down a healer but that’s because i make her feel guilty LOL

I would sell more runs for gold, but that requires dealing with people who try to haggle to less than 50% original price off the bat all the time.
