this bracket should give entirely different rewards whether thats diff color mogs or soemthing even just to start…
generic rewards such a problem because there’ll always be an easier mode that becomes easier by more people moving to it
why be top 50 in 2s when you could get it being top 10k in blitz

Ya, over 4k cr, mmr is 4200+ and still climbing. Strong possibility of 4500+ depending on Qs over the next 2 weeks.
dam always thought there was some kind of cap at 4k. or did that just apply to arena rating? coulda swore some Korean wow players win traded to the cap or something one time.
the spread is entirely dependent on everyone Qing, but is more or less limited to ~300 more than the next highest guy (assuming standard ELO formula, which it’s derived from).
That is just nuts. Gonna be interesting to see just how hard they hit blitz with the nerf bat after this season.

Idk, I found blitz almost intolerable. I just feel like I have very little agency in there on whether we win or lose and so that’s not fun for me. Also way too grindy for something I didn’t really find fun to begin with. Yuck. To each their own though.
On topic though, yea, blitz should 100% not have the same rewards or titles as other brackets. Should be more similar to Rated battlegrounds.

You still get the same military titles from Blitz though, so that’s cool.
I’d agree that having stuff like challenger/rival/duelist in there is a little weird.
I thought the same thing when I was looking at the rewards for next season. It’s even called legend pennant. The answer is pretty obvious tho, PvP is dead and they don’t want to spare extra resources.
Rated battlegrounds have the exact same rewards as other brackets though, minus the glad mount of course.
Not how the gsme works. Pvp is pvp and pve is pve.

We’re not talking about sets, we’re talking about titles. And as the OP said, blitz/rbg’s are a completely different game when compared to arena. Not to mention blitz is inflated beyond belief. As someone else said, Why get 2400 in 2v2 when that requires you to be within the top .1% of all players in that bracket when you can get it in Blitz (which with many classes) only requires you to be within the top 4-6% of your class in that bracket.
It’s honestly embarrassing how overlooked the reward system is, and just everything pvp-related in general. It’s a friggin joke.
Yea but you can be sure it will be the least inflated mode in s2. Blizzard works on extremes only, zero balance just like rss s1 df.
