Actually, the FotM Andies rerolled ret paladin. Just like they did, along with Dk’s, in WotlK classic.
And they continue to be failures at it.

Question: why are nobodies like you so desperate to try and impress me? I mean, it’s the same in RL, people like you come out of nowhere and just are so desperate for me to acknowledge them, and I still have no clue who you are.

Dazes in game are just a 50% snare. The only exception are mob dazes that hit you from behind
correct, but if you have played other versions of classic you would know that the annoying paladin shield is like an NPC daze that you cannot remove excluding immunities like BoP.
I agree this needs to be changed, just pointing out that its not some sort of conspiracy or a mistake, this is actually how it’s always worked and you are unlikely to encounter it in newer versions of WoW like TBC and Wrath because almost no one goes deep enough prot in PVP to have this become a problem, but do enough arena and you will occasionally encounter it and its incredibly tilting.

Not true. Avenger’s Shield was added in TBC. In patch 2.0.10 it was changed to be a snare and is trinketable and shapeshiftable. That was only 3 months into TBC

A slow that isn’t classified as a slow is silly. If it’s a slow it should be classified as a slow, and be subject to being cleared by anything that clears slows.
Storm are mandatory,imo. Anything else adds interesting flavor though

Avenger shield is a poorly designed ability for paladins to have at this level bracket. They can slow you from a great distance and you can’t counter it by slowing them because they have too many ways to remove slow effects from themselves. It would really help if they had to stand still for it.
Divine Protection does not allow physical attacks while protected, unless it’s a spell (judgement, exorcism, not sure about AS). You can’t CStrike, DStorm or AA during.
Blessing of Freedom is dispellable by Priest and Shaman (both available to Horde). Both can also dispells every blessing and Seals, making the paladin unable to cast judgement.
Avenger’s Shield has a 10 sec duration (magic effect iirc, so priest dispell works) and a 30 second cooldown an require swapping to a shield to throw (so GCD apply before you can actually throw)
If we’re talking purely about flag carrying, a shaman is also quite powerful with Purge, Earthbind and Ghost wolf, which are all basic spells that don’t require a rune.
AS should be considered a slow like other spells, but the amount of bull in these threads about paladin is insane.
