Go to any Remix raid ensemble vender and view any ensemble. Then go down the list of what’s in the ensemble and look at each piece. From what I’ve seen, there’s at least one piece in every ensemble that has a totally wrong appearance for the set. Seems to usually be chests.
This is apparently messing up what people get when buying the ensembles. Like, I’m hearing people are getting the wrong robes for Sha Skin. Some ensembles even display on the vendor with the wrong items, like the robe on the heroic vendor Regalia of the Burning Scroll.
I’m now afraid to spend my bronze on any set being sold in Remix because it seems just random whether you get right or wrong pieces for them.
Good to know that not only can I not buy the remix cosmetics, since I already have their armor-restricted versions and am thus unable to learn their cosmetic variants that are unrestricted, but buying any of the few class set ensembles on my list would be a waste of bronze right now as well.
But hey, so glad they’re focused on nerfing everything instead of fixing the many bugs in this limited time mode .
slightly unrelated, but i found out yesterday that the mannoroth shoulders can only be earned by plate wearers. I figured they wouldn’t lift the restriction to mog them, but i thought i’d at least be able to earn them on the class i wanted to play in remix.
here’s hoping they change it, or that i have enough bones of mannoroth by the end to buy them and hope they get grandfathered into my mog collection once the warband patch comes out.

I’ve already had most of these appearances for years now, so there’s no way for me to test. I bought a bunch of the cloth ones and noticed two things: I didn’t get the puffy sleeve version of the purple sha-skin robes that are warlock specific (they still show as unlearned in the collections tab). I did get the orange robes that are labeled “Vestments of the Burning Scroll” that are just a recolor of the Cloudscorcher set.
It also says I’ve collected the Mythic paladin SoO set and can’t use the item, even though a few of the new Remix trash drops are unlearned.
Presumably so that they could include it without going the Garrosh route. Those helmets already take up like 3 slots in my collection even though they’re all literally the same appearance. /shrug
Could even be that the helm isn’t even supposed to be in the set. Hard to say with the jumbled mess of the Remix ensembles. I hope it is though. I’d like to get it.
