Why can’t the player character turn into that dark void look like she can? We get a tint shader passive racial ability. : /

She took a giant pure, condensed void ball to the face, you got watered down void.

Velfs didn’t eat a Void Naaru. They just got Void channeled through them for a bit until they were saved.

Lore doesn’t matter to playable races anymore. Rule of cool via blizzards new standers
Rule of cool was the old standard too, but all the extra customization void elves have gotten have been additions to appease the “we want them to just be high elves” crowd.

I mean, original lore for Night Elves said that women were warriors while men were druids.
Blizzard decided that wouldn’t be fun in WoW, so they just got rid of it as a restriction for players. They’ve always been very willing to just ignore lore if it suits what they want in gameplay.
We’ve also been getting race options, including highly demanded ones, since TBC. It just took them 18 years to get to certain race options.
I know, right? That’d be a cool upgrade to entropic embrace.
You have to wait for her to achieve Void Elf 3, then you can unlock Void Elf 2 but enemies have surpassed it so you are still fodder.

I’m still very curious what alleria’s new void form will look like. So far I only seen her weapon using the void.

From what I saw it was temporary. Almost like it starts up and then turns off. Like the racial.
And nothing stops you from moving around when it turns on, just doesn’t last long.

Void elves complain like crazy for “non-void” aesthetics, now they are complaining about not having enough. We have come full circle.
She did eat a Naaru. That’s a little bit different from standard Void Elves.
Well maybe Blizzard should give me the chance to eat a Naaru.
I get the joke but now i’m curious if the K’thir would be a Super Void transformation. 
They go great sprinkled on pasta.
