Why do you think you'll have all Epics?

Just because clearing MC isn’t an ultra difficult raid, why do you think you’ll have all these epics just flyin at you?

You still have to take 40 people because realistically, you’re not as good as Apes.

The raid still only drops 20 pieces of loot and can only be done once a week.

Half your raid will get 1 item a week. Best case scenario and you get 0 ‘dupes’ or unneeded gear you’ll be farming that for 28ish weeks before your entire raid party is kitted out. This assumes some non-raid drop BIS and that you aren’t trying to fill every slot with MC/Ony gear. Realistically, some of you will not even be finished iwth MC and will have non-BIS when we go to ZG and AQ40 and maybe even Nax.

3 step plan to classic gearing

  1. Advocate for loot council

What are you talking about?

I don’t know about you but as soon as APEs downed Rag epics starting raining from the sky.

I have my full Beastalker set waiting for me in the bank.

I don’t think I ever had any vanilla toons with all epics at level 60.

I plan on crafting alot of gear and working with whatever I have.

I don’t think I’ll have all epics in P1… I’m a feral DPS I will NEVER have all epics in Classic

I think I’ll be full purple in 1 year’s time.

Fun fact…many blues were either just as good or in some cases even better than the stuff dropping in MC. Itemization was everywhere in Vanilla.

I don’t, I played the game in 2005 and know the reality … what’s more I don’t give a flying fig about lolepics for their own sake, if my greens can clear MC then why would I be fixated on purples?

BTW, I won’t be clearing MC in any color gear, raiding is utterly boring to me now but the point is valid nonetheless.

Joke’s on you! I don’t need MC epics! Mostly because… Druid itemization is spotty as hell… but STILL!

Seriously, I don’t know who you think you’re informing of what here, but people will be downing Rag week after week and folks will start completing Tier 1 fairly rapidly and well before Phase 2 begins.

Welcome to 2004-2006.

It was an epic time for our Priests. Golemagg never dropped T1 robe… then Nef drops T2 first kill… with… as you probably guessed by simple math all our Priests still in blue robes.

Epic times. Pun intended.

Don’t you know, if somebody else kills a boss it means you will get Sulfuras instantly?

Unlike modern wow, where there is almost never a reason to continue doing the old content when a new raid tier is released, in classic there is always a reason to go back to the prior tier. People will still need pieces a year in, the crafting mats make quite a bit of gold for the guild, and the legendaries take time to acquire. Even if you’re just selling the ingots, you’re paying for guild repairs for a week every time one drops, or buying a stack of black lotus. Later on you’ll be gearing replacements or alts, so yeah, you’ll be running all tiers every week until the game dies or you quit.

Well, mostly because I’m on the loot council and main healer, so I get priority for the epics, that’s why I will have all epics.

I doubt I’ll have any epics at all.

You are a Night Elf, get a nice piece of purple after you win 25 AV’s in a roe.

Despite running MC every week I was able to for years, my Warrior didn’t get his T1 gloves until well after TBC launched and we were running MC for the guild achieve.

Apes basically cheated to beat MC week one, I don’t care what they do.

Its going to take months of work to get full tears. I think it took me like 6 months to get my last piece of T2 in vanilla. Sometimes the boss never drops your loot lol

3 guilds did it week 1.

Because spoiler MC and Ony are jokes.

As even casual guilds reach 40ish people at 58-60 they will walk over MC as well.

Amd there is nothing wrong with it.
