I didn’t purchase it because I saw the writing on the walls. BFA has been a mess from day one. I wasn’t going to commit for 6 months to empty promises and deflection.
Original post before the title edit:
I didn’t do it but I had thought about it. Ive heard some people say they regret it and was wondering how many will openly admit they made a mistake. If you’re happy with that purchase this topic is not for you and when you inevitably post “I’m happy with mine” I’m going to call you out and point back to this part of my OP.
Extremely glad I didn’t. I won’t be playing wow for a long time.

That defeats the purpose of a question if you insist you only want 1 answer.

There was no way I was going to buy that. It was one of their more obvious cash grabs. Considering the flying boat sinks under water, it’s even more laughable.

Yep, regret it. Wish I didn’t give them the money for a 6 month sub for a game that’s gone into the sh*!ter.

Glad I didn’t but it. Maybe if it was a floating anvil instead.

If it had been like that old D3 mount where you promise to stay subbed for 12 months, I’d have got it.
But there’s no way I was putting down a wad of cash just for that.
I did it mostly for the mount, then found out there are holes in the bottom of the boat and sinks. I dont even use it very much. Yeah, it’s a regret.

Yeah I wasn’t paying for a 6th month sub in one shot. That’s a super expensive mount if you look at it.
I’ve been paying with tokens right now so my sub is staying active with someone else paying for it.

I think the point is that people bought the mount thinking “yea sure I’m happy to pay for the sub, I’m sure I’ll still be playing in 6 months and want the sub anyway” to come to find that, oh crap, it’s all gone to sh*!. Now I don’t want to play but I’m stuck with the decision I made.

Well the 6-monthers…at least I did…paid with tokens as well, by converting them to battle.net balance, then buying the sub. It saves money in the long run if you know you’re going to be playing all that time.
6 months, 1 month at a time == $89.94
6 months, paid in one shot… == $77.94
That’s nearly a free month.

Like it literally says in the title he only wants one answer. Some questions only have one answer.

That’s why I did it. One for me, and one for my wife. She was off for 3 years, and came back with a passion. She’s a very casual player, so we have fun just going back and doing everything she missed. I got a discount and one more mount towards my total.

If you’re happy with it what is there to discuss? If you’re unhappy, there could be many answers. Am I wrong in assuming that?

I don’t regret it, the timing of the new raid is done well for the rate my guilds progressed through it. It’d be nice if I could say I didn’t regret for a reason other than “the raid’s well paced” though.
“Who here _____?”
There’s logically always more than 1 answer. A question with 1 answer is not a question.

Unfortunately I’ve never bought s months in a shot. Only 3.
That’s still good to know though.
Title change to better reflect my intention.
I don’t…I’d pay for it monthly anyway, with this I received a mount and saved a wow token
