I play a female dwarf in retail. The braids and the facial expressions were a big part of the decision. I hate space goats was another. I enjoy my retail dwarf because she’s adorable and expressive and has stone form and is not a space goat.
In Classic I can’t hang with a dwarf. Meriweather the retail resto shammy is cute and nice to look at. I can’t hang out with the wooden faces of the dwarves in Classic.

the animation and sounds work for me as a warrior, or any other melee class. as a caster, not so much.
