Why do you love your server?

Looking for a complete change of pace on a new server, help me choose by giving me reason to love your server!

Mine are a fraction of the size they used to be, so I am happy with the quiet.

For context, I have 4 kids, so quiet is more valuable than gold.

It’s the most balanced horde/alliance ratio out of the highest population servers, so I chose Dalaran for immersion. Kinda funny to view it that way considering it’s not an rp server, but I don’t rp, just keep track of my character’s backstory.

My guild moved to Stormrage because our previous server was too low pop to be able to recruit for raids effectively. Stormrage is large and Alliance-heavy. The economy is robust. Lots of guilds, lots of groups forming, lots of paid carries offered from high-end guilds (if that’s something you want to take advantage of). Even if my guild disbanded, I would stay on Stormrage due to the population and economy.

Just about tich

Goldshire.

Nothing beats chilling with the boi’s.

All the servers that act like servers require to play on classic

All the retail servers suck and they need to scrap the server model if they’re going to keep using sharding

I’ll happily be Nippys#4164 if that means I will see people running around the whole world
And also it would be nice to have servers that don’t snap in half when 20 people start fighting each other

People play often and its est.

Servers are more or less meaningless now unless there’s one guild in particular you’re dying to get into.

Choose a high population server hosted in your nearest datacenter. Maybe with an in-game clock that matches your time zone but that’s less important.

Wyrmrest Accord has a robust Horde RP community and an overall pleasant atmosphere. I’m not a high end player so any lack of Mythic or raids doesn’t matter to me. If there’s a lack. I have no idea.

It’s a perfect place for me to chill while queued for BGs or for casual questing.

Torn between Wyrmrest Accord and Dalaran.

Wyrmrest has a very active RP community, a more mature community, and tends to be much less drama. Downside though is that it feels empty especially when leveling, and even more so with warmode-- as RP servers warmodes are ONLY with their server. And since alliance isn’t too populated here, you see maybe 2 allies to 120.

Dalaran on the other hand isn’t an RP server. I don’t RP, but I love seeing people RP. Makes the world feel alive and to me it’s just… ‘cool’ seeing a bunch of people hang out in org, or in silvermoon city.
But, leveling on dalaran is amazing. Every single zone is PACKED with people. With cross realm and Dalaran being a very balanced, high pop server (alliance slightly outnumbers horde but not by a lot). You will always be seeing people. Unlike on wyrmrest where most zones have 1-2 people leveling in them, often times you’re the ONLY one.

So… Idk. End game the zones are populated, which makes Wyrmrest accord the winner. But I enjoy my alts as an altaholic so not seeing a single soul until 110 is also pretty crappy.
Wyrmrest accord > Dalaran by a veryyy slight margin.

If alliance go Moonguard.
Yes, it’s the land of trolls.

It’s also extremely busy and populated. You’ll never get bored there.

Faerlina is balanced, it’s funny watching the streamer drama, it’s a pvp server. Even though I don’t rp when I’m exhausted of leveling I just slow walk around blessing people and helping lowbies finish elite quests lmao. The mutlitiude of reactions you get is priceless.

I don’t particularly love my server. It’s a place where my friends and I play. S’about it.

We’re all just a bunch of degenerates here that love to stir stuff up and I love it. We go for each others throats 24/7 but if someone from outside the server joins in we all hold hands and go for theirs. What more could you want?

If you really want to raid, and push non stop end Game content.
Illidan is for you. From casual raiders to Hardcore.
I Love this server.

I wouldn’t recommend Frostwolf/vashj, unless you really really dislike those random guild invites. me and the other guy don’t do that kind of stuff so you don’t gotta worry about those…

As far as servers go, Stacey at the Grand Rapids Olive Garden is the best! I love her because she always brings more breadsticks before I even ask!

Thrall has a nice economy for buying things, cheapest priced server I’ve been on because there’s so many people
