I feel the same way, none of the are thematic to monks nor very fun to play with, imo.
I felt like weapons of order was probably the closest thematically.
did you even read the post? it acknowledges a loosely based format that exists in game.
i do wonder if theyll consider all the visual updates they put into fls as work already done, “it got its time”, or if it will be updated alongside these other abilities
TBH I would prefer not to have to play with Faeline, but the buffs are way too powerful to ignore. And over time I’ve came around to it, as of right now it’s pretty easy to resposition due to the cooldown frequently being reset.
Honestly the biggest thing Blizzard could do is make the cooldown reset completely independent of staying in the Faeline, that way it isn’t punishing when the tank repositions right after the start of the pull.
the 2/2 faeline just requires you to hit the person and not stand it(only for reset) for the 12% laser beam buff so it’s worth it in open set-ups.
They are redoing shadowlands visuals thank goodness. I hope they make it just a giant circle or a cone or something … the twisty little wisps are harder to navigate.
Absolutely love the animation, in fact I hope we can keep it fae themed if we choose.
Hate how it plays.
But you can mitigate a lot of complaints about it with smart positioning and communication. Missing it/having someone pull them out of it doesn’t put the breaks on the class or dps or rotation at all like people would make you think it does.
Exactly, which is why making the CD irrelevant wouldn’t be a buff, it would just remove the thorn from our side.
I like Feeline alot, the only issue is when tanks move right after you have placed it.
In my opinion it should have two charges.
Love it for MW, hate it for WW.
It looks pretty and ummmm yeah that’s it looks pretty.
From a fistweaver pvp view I do t mind FS because it procs a lot and if I need to set it back down I can. Also it’s a semi form of cc because most people don’t want to stand in it defensively so they usually move which can be beneficial in certain cases.
As a Windwalker I loath it. It feels terrible to use but unlike the other horrible statue capstones its simply too powerful to ignore.
With the new update it actually looks very monk like, but now feels even more out of place in a windwalker’s kit. The new visuals give it a jade serpent-like look with small clouds of chi mist coming off the ground, perfectly suited for a mistweaver but not so much a windwalker.
On the other hand, Weapons of Order now gives Chi swirls around the user’s arms and legs as if they were further focusing more power into their limbs to enhance their strikes.
The Windwalker and monk trees really need a rework, but for now I wish they’d at least swap the two for abilities for Windwalker.
Just popped on and saw WOO there. Looks pretty dope. I was always puzzled as to why brewmaster got WOO and WW did not …
