as title say
Alliance has the same/ more players in oce playing at max level with warmode on, why do we still have it?
It’s generated based of the NA region player pool.
I agree that it is silly and made statements about it when it first came out however nothing has been done/communicated.
I feel it should work based on region as we don’t interact with their sharding/servers anyway.
Well said. It’s a major problem. Frostmorne ally is just too dominant
I play on US servers and I find it really tough now to complete the Call to arms quests because I think alliance has turned WM off or something
Its the AOO ur referring to i believe, OP.
Its coz in NA the horde is super dominant and has a larger playerbase than the OC region and OC realms are connected to the NA ones so in total the horde outnumbers the alliance. But u r correct that its a problem. For those of us that like wm and wpvp we need the opposite faction for it to happen.
Ironically OCE servers actually had a really good balance pre 8.1. That’s the real shame of it all.
We perhaps had the best balanced region for wPvP (more Alliance players but greater Horde participation %) yet the changes simply forced us to become another horribly unbalanced warmode region so now all of them play terribly instead of having a few that were actually balanced.
Same thing happened to a lot of RP realms as well apparently. Went from decent balance to no balance at all.
It’s a really big shame because it was something that a lot of us (myself included) thought would be great, but it was just implemented so poorly that for a lot of people it’s unplayable.
I’d rather bring back PvP/PvE realms at this stage. I had a lot more fun in wPvP on Gundrak (A) as the minority faction back in Legion/WoD than I have with warmode post 8.1.
Most people have just turned it off, and we don’t have a single incentive to turn it back on, so we won’t.
