Will be nice to have a week to clear all the quest in undermine without feeling like I’m wasting time on the gear treadmill.

There will be bugs. This allows them to make sure they can deal with bugs, while also not having to worry about issues with M+/raid, etc.
It also allows people to just… look around and enjoy it without having to go into FULL SwEAtty MOAD!!!1111111

Didn’t say I wasn’t expecting bugs? I’ll take bugs over the inevitable driving in circles for 7 hours after I do the main quest that’s gonna take 45 mins in the new zone
Also I’m by far a sweat. I barely got KSM this season
You’re gonna need a week to ‘get used to’ Undermine, it’s pretty large but also pretty jam-packed full of stuff, similar to Suramar.
The story quests alone will take a few hours to complete, assuming everything on the PTR will be available on release.
Plus, some classes got entire hero talent overhauls like Pack Leader for Hunters, and so-forth.
New delves, new dungeons will be there to do on day one.
PvPers will be there doing their usual content, grabbing as much conquest as they can before the season actually starts.

I think you guys misunderstood me. I don’t care what the goblins are up nor do I care about the new zone I just want my loot and new raid bosses.
The lore/location is the vehicle for the loots/bosses.
Gotta wait until the raid opens, it’s nothing new.
Always been like that with pretty much every raid ever, they’re never open on day one.

Just do the story and vibe. You can still do S1 raid and M+ this week if you want. I’ll take this one week over waiting 4 weeks or so at the start of the xpack.

Mostly gonna explore the new zone and get a fresh main a gear set.
Might farm some pvp gear? Not sure on that.
Every week they can keep us from reaching personal goals is potentially putting us over the threshold of buying another month of service.
And one week is nice to have to do the story and stuff and not have to worry about falling behind on raid and M+

Wow. The patch hasn’t even dropped yet and there’s already nothing to do. Shucks.
They’re going to need a week to do dmg control on Beast Mastery.
M+ and raid aren’t going anywhere next week, as it’s the final week of Season 1 next week. You’ll be able to do keys and raid if you want, the new season just doesn’t start until the following week.
This is the way it’s always done.
Also nice to have a moment to let the community blast their class feedback to devs too before the gates open. I have lost some of the faith that they read all the feedback from ptr players. Lol

The campaign will most definitely be timegated. We just don’t know how many chapters will be drip fed to us on a weekly release schedule.
No they won’t. Those are season 2 features, which starts March 4th. Tomorrow is still season 1 dungeons, delve and raid.
I think the biggest reason is to give the story room to breathe.
I love m+/raid but these 3 expansions are supposed to be the crescendo of basically all of the story weve done. I really hope they dont drop the story ball.
