Ardenweald, Bastion, etc all have portals to their zones exactly like how zereth mortis has in Oribos, yet for the zones we still have the take a flight path instead of just walking into their respective portals like we can for zereth mortis?

Yeah, we need portals!
Cause zereth mortis is so removed and locked away from the rest of the shadowlands that traversing the abyss between is probably too treacherous.

The portals you see in oribos, you could click them in the beta and it would teleport you there. Though they couldn’t make them work permanently so they just removed them.
Which is just weird to me considering they seem to be able to just slap a portal bubble anywhere. Like for assaults, Which also happens to work the same way back…
Now thinking about that… why the heck haven’t they just used that?

but how will you get to the portal? flight paths are everywhere.
That’s weird, the zereth mortis portals looks exactly like them but with the ZM portal you get teleported to the zone, wonder what’s the problem bliz had with the normal zones portals in oribos
Well, considering they have obvious working ways to teleport back and forth… it just seems like with shadowlands as a whole, they just forgot about it and left it as is.

They already got the portals.

You can always walk there if you don’t want to use the portal.
Lore reasons aside, it’s just Blizzard not wanting to bother with a place that will be dead in a few months.

Those portals were always placeholders until they got the worm mount and anima stream animation right (and minimized motion sickness).
At this point, they should just make them like the ZM portal and say we have fixed the problems within the Shadowlands enough.
Sounds cool, make a youtube video showing how.
And then of course some bullcrap reason why they didn’t add them in the first place.
I know. I was thinking the same exact thing every time I roam around the upstairs of Oribos and I see these portals and I just think “why can’t we use these I am sick of running around in circles and using the flight master to get around”.
