Between the Black Harvest title, the Council of the Black Harvest faction, the Seed of Corruption spell, the Deadwind Harvester Artifact and now the Soul Harvester Hero Spec, Warlocks are basically goth farmers.
I always assumed that your farmer skills is where all those ingredients came from when you warlocks give me those delicious lock rock candy treats. Mmmmm tasty

The notion of the "Grim Reaper (reaper/harvester of souls) as a personification of Death has existed for a very long time in the real world. Warlocks use of souls as a power source plays heavily into that theme. Though, DKs equally play (even more so) into the same Death imagery.
