worst type of “pvper’s” by far of any version of wow. gotta love when ur enjoying a fair good fight then someone jumps in to ruin it on either side. why cant you people respect the 1v1? i dont get it.
Because I don’t PvP for any sense of honor.
I do it to bully people off the game.
I don’t respect any 1v1s, I just jump. 
When running up on a 1v1 fight it can be hard to tell who started it and why, so I’ll try to make sure the guy on my side wins.

First and foremost there are two generalizations here. First is, people playing this iteration are Original Vanilla player. Second is people don’t respect a 1v1.
If I, am OG player with the Panda Pet special edition even, is running through a zone that is let’s say 10 levels lower that I for the sake of a “Skull” and witness a 1v1 going down I will /claps the the victor and carry on regardless of faction. I’ve been playing this way for quite some time now.
To answer your main question, when are the vacationing peeps leaving, you know who I’m talking about, the dopamine chasing nerds who are playing for their 30 second or less high (unless they’re corpse camping) types. Hopefully soon.
i dont play vanilla to respect the enemy. if i see the other faction attacking my own i am jumping in 100% of the time. i dont care who started it, if i see my team being attacked im coming to defend them 100% of the time win or lose.

So your upset PvP happened on a PvP server, and because I assume you’re obviously a retail player who wants to be able to gank interrupted, you blame those who played in Vanilla?
well usually the "1v1"s that i see are a 60 shaman camping the shimmering flats killing 30-somethings so no, i won’t respect that
now i see why retail players bash vanilla “pvpers”. straight clowns that live for the gang bang.
Isnt the whole 1v1 thing completely against the horde vs alliance narrative of Vanilla? Like the game actively tries to make you dislike the other faction so you do jump them…
Factions don’t start holding hands and skipping through flower fields together until later expansions

if you pvp in classic, preparation is paramount. You have to expect any 1v1 to become 1v X and have a few of the appropriate consumes/trinkets etc. for either dealing with multiple opponents or escaping to come back with the upper hand.

Are there PVP servers?
How are Paladin’s supposed to PvP if it’s a 1v1? Isn’t the whole point of WPVPing as a Pally to have 20 people from both factions join your 1v1 before your 10 invulns are over?
there is a duel function just for people like you who want to 1v1, use it instead of crying that pvp happened on a pvp server.
