Why do Timewalking Dungeons feel like a slog

Problem… they scaled those runeshapers perfectly. Damn things would put melee into the ground back in the day if they weren’t killed or that spinning wasn’t stopped.

Tanking mechanics in lich king were very very different then they are now. Block was a static reduction so raid geared tanks in lich king dungeons basically took no real melee damage from normal attacks.

It’s all percentage now so enough of the little mobs will overwhelm you.

Thats the biggest difference I noticed… besides the fact that both mobs and players do more damage overall. You can tell this easily because even bad groups will get the speed kill achievements that used to take good/overgeared groups to get.
