ugh my guild has been farming naxx since week 1 yet for some reason theyre making us raid naxx on tuesday. didnt take a single break not even holiday week with 20 they still made us go into naxx. not even a hardcore guild either just find it kind of weird they’re not tired of it. very little if any upgrades left.
Yeah it’s pretty dumb that classic has worldwide raid releases for a race that the majority of people don’t care at all about. It forces players who can’t raid on off nights to miss a lockout/have to pug it. Meanwhile retail, which makes a big spectacle of the race to world first mythic raids, had staggered resets based on region (Tue, Wed, Thur). I know it’s not exactly the same, but you get what i mean.
All they would need to do is make the world first be relative to the release date. So if an American guild clears ulduar on Tuesday at 8:30pm, but a Chinese guild clears it at 8:23pm on Thursday, then the credit for 1st goes to the Chinese guild.
Naxx was released on a Thursday, but you’re bored of it now. Ulduar is probably going to be a 5 to 6 month phase based on what Blizzard said.
What’s the difference this time? You’re just going to be bored of it in 3 months. If you’re not hard core then whats the big deal of missing a lock out?
Everyone knew it was going to be a Thursday release. It’s old news.
what does me being bored of naxx have anything to do with my question on why classic raids launch on thursday? we all knew it was going to be thursday, but I am asking if there’s a reason why they decided on thursdays.
yes i am bored of naxx, yes I put it in my opening post, i am merely whining that due to thursday releases, some guilds (like mine) will still raid the old raid the same week, which literally does not happen otherwise due to raids usually coming tuesday reset (or w/e day your region resets), but not the case in classic.
