I had a tank leave duegon he was complaining about his mouse and that it was having issues and hyper sensetivity and that he felt he was doing poorly even thought we did wipe once but it was everyones fault the first one happened...
He was doing quite good despite himself saying he was doing poorly this is a Blood Death knight we are talking about...
He then said he was sorry and he left the duegon.... I mean Wtf ? I dont see why he thought he was doing badly ?? when everyone else in group thought he was doing good I dont get it...
Why would a tank leave if everyone thinks their doing good......
You were probably slow dmgers and he just wanted to get rid of you so he said poor excuse and "bye".

Not being satisfied with your own performance is a thing, even if others around you are. Not meeting your own standard can be frustrating sometimes. Or he was just making it up as en excuse to bail. Or both.
When tanking with a class I haven't used before or after an extended break I tend to leave if I feel I'm holding the group back.
I know I usually get angry when some dps are just purposely being d-bags and I just don't want the headache. I usually don't it just depends on if I'm just not in the mood for that bs.
Some people have their own reasons.

Just que for another and move on, btw welcome to WoW
This game can be hard on tanks. Sometimes, you feel like it's just inevitable that somebody's going to call you out and make you miserable, and that just makes you more miserable. Because we do get called out over the most arbitrary of things. Sometimes people do things like message us after dungeons to let us know that we didn't do one fight exactly how they wanted, even though the fight worked fine, nobody died, etc, and that we're !@#$ at the game because of that. This puts us on edge.
I don't think I've ever left a group because I felt seriously depressed, like I was screwing up at every turn and it was only a matter before somebody called me out, but I've come *very* close (the one thing stopping me was consideration for everybody else's queue times). Most of the time, it works out fine. My mouse fixes itself, or I get back in the flow of things.
This game requires a thick skin sometimes. Somedays, you just don't have that, even when you felt compelled to pick up the game and enter the dungeon.

If my mouse was acting weird during something like that, i would probably leave out of anxiety tbh, it's hard to focus when your pc is being distracting.
Maybe his mouse had a problem and he wanted to go fix it.
Just a wild guess tho

Why do people make threads asking a very general question ("Why do tanks...") when their question is really about a very specific incident? Unless you've had other tanks leave with mouse problems?11/06/2018 10:09 PMPosted by HealonI had a tank leave duegon he was complaining about his mouse and that it was having issues and hyper sensetivity and that he felt he was doing poorly even thought we did wipe once but it was everyones fault the first one happened...

I left a dungeon because of a mouse problem once. They probably got a tank who wasn't having a mouse problem.
probably got a ton of spam from the other players, or just didnt want to tank your group any more. I have faked link death more than once just to escape idiots.
Bio break

Because "it's not you, it's me". Your tank broke up with your group. At least he was polite about it.
Some don't say a thing, just *poof* gone.

I guess your right but their should still be some kind of punishment for tanks who do that they should have to stick it out regardles if their having issues or not if group is getting by then they should suck it up and deal with it.
I seen this behavior so much it makes it frustrating to heal these people only to have them leave after group is making good progress.

To be fair, your tank could have been telling the truth. At any rate, why don't you or one of the others tank it?

I guess I should start trying out tanking more. I just love healing its so chill and laid back just pop a heal every now and then and keep group up and some dps and stay out of way.
