Let the tank die then vote kick him/her … 30min is an eternity to a tank.
We see mobs, we hit mobs hard.
Not really as Tank I leave immediately if it’s not a dungeon I want. I can just switch to my other Tank or do PvP, dailys, farm trash for gold etc. We just keep moving.
If the tank is so far ahead of the group constantly, just let him die, that should teach him. Other than that…people just want to be done with their daily.
why people play a certain way ?! please answer me !
I call it the Retail Brain.
Wouldn’t that be an oxymoron, though? ![]()
Thanks.
Why don’t you manage your mana better and keep up?
Tell me about it… bad groups suck especially bad for webs and glaciate gammas. People still dont know the mechanics that have been around since phase 2.
Keep moving and keep up. Dungeons are embarassingly undertuned and I hate when I have a tank that ISN’T doing this.
Some dungeons you can do wall to wall safely even with PUGs, some you can’t due to the affixes, but there’s no reason to be stopping once a group is dead or close to it. Rarely do healers at a 5k GS have to get mana, and we’re swimming in mana potions, just keep chain drinking them. 90% of the time on my 5k Disc Priest I’m shielding the tank and spamming Holy Nova the entire dungeon because it’s so undertuned.
just a sign of bad people, GS doesnt matter. Content might be obsolete or not, you are in with 4 other people and you need to adapt to them. If you cant do that just dont group. And of course people leveling ending up with such azzhats think its “normal” behavior and mimick it when they are tanking
How sweet --another rotating alt posting.
Can’t if the tank chain pulls and you’re always in combat.
Has happened a couple times on my disc but overall you’re mostly correct. We don’t need much downtime anymore.
A couple of seconds of drinking here and there is usually good enough.
Yea, I get this maybe 30% of the time, more in lowbie dungeons from people who probably have tanked less.
The ones that pull enemies forward to keep you in perma combat so you can’t even drink for two seconds are extremely annoying people.
This is true in Dragonflight RDF where tanks are extremely self-sufficient and have more self-healing than they’ve ever had. It very much isn’t true in WotLKC at 80 or sub 80 for most people.
The only time chain pulling in a way that keeps you in combat constantly is what you should be doing is halls and everyone has infinite mana there basically.
When leveling a disc priest, I actually am fine with them going forward a bit since I shield them and then sit to drink and that’s good enough. The only issue is the ones that won’t give me even a tiny window to do that and I have to constantly rush and save them from themselves when they could go decently fast if they were just slightly aware of what was going on with everyone else.
I also don’t care when they do this or really notice on my 80 resto druid since I can innervate myself every 3 minutes on top of being a very mana efficient class anyway.
Drink a mana potion.
They saw a streamer doing it.
Tik-Tok generation.
Dumb kids.
All of the above.
Not smart, they are retail players masquerading as classic players. They are literal and actual sweaty basement dwellers.
We did this the other day. I didn’t heal tank, watched him die, waited 2 more minutes vote to kick. Group was happy.
boomer playing classic lol
We get it, the game passed you by.
The ones who use rocket boots annoy me the most. My disc isnt an engineer so I literally have to run nonstop and sometimes the tank dies because they rocketed ahead and then blame me for not keeping up.
Luckily thats only happened a couple times but jesus people need to pay attention to minimap.
