A LOT of money through donations/subscriptions
Free Carries
Free battle pet that we have to pay $10 for
Free Feldrake mount while we have to watch their stupid content for 4 hours
AND a free irl lootbox??

What we get:
Pay $10
Pay subscription
Actually work at a job
NO lootbox
NO free feldrake
NO free battlepet

Why do we have to get screwed so the rich can get richer??

You’re comparing the top .0001% of streamers and acting like that is all streamers.

Because streamers bring a lot of extra attention to whatever game they choose to play. So quite simply they do a lot more for the game than any regular player so it only makes sense for developers to want to encourage streamers to continue playing their game.

They have personalities that appeal to young people.

They bring in tons of completely free advertising for Blizzard, so they get special perks. It’s how the world works.
