I don’t mean in Raids or PvP. Obviously, in raids some enemy abilities can be devastating if not interrupted and in PvP, interrupting frustrates and nullifies another player when used at the right time.
But why would you interrupt a quest mob while you’re collecting 12 of their hearts?
That seems so incredibly annoying. Have you seen people doing this? Why do you think they do it?
I feel like the game would be better if interrupts were disabled outside of PvP and raids were just rebalanced around their removal.
Additionally, sometimes a mob is casting a spell that will stun you if you don’t interrupt it. I dislike being stunned by mobs, so I will interrupt those casts.
Let’s get something straight, pal. I’m already lazy. I don’t use interrupts at all, so it doesn’t affect me one bit if they’re removed or not removed. But BECAUSE I don’t use them and because I don’t experience any significant issues from not using them, I am compelled to question their utility for everyone. Maybe they’re not as great as people make them out to be and removing them might make the gameplay experience more fun for sweaty players.
As for me, I’ve never had an interrupt on my bar and never will. Except for Arcane Torrent and Haymaker, of course. I use those interrupts for their secondary benefit (resource restoration & knockback, respectively).
Wait, you’re complaining about other people using cobtrol abilities while questing? So i shouldnt use leg sweep while running dailies on my monk, or use fear on my lock to interupt a big damage ability? The better question seems to be why arent you using interupts?
Interrupts are vital in keys. Not using them leads to wipes. It’s also vital in open world depending upon your level, ilvl, and whatever is happening at the time.
