Why does it even matter? I am so sick of seeing this same question OVER and OVER and OVER.
I play a female because I WANT TO. Why are you trying to make it into something and trap people into answering in a way that would, seemingly, demean them. Your entire post is pointed at it being a negative, else you wouldn’t bring it up like it’s some societal mis-step.
If men playing female characters triggers you so badly that you have to ask about it on the forums… GOOD!

why do people always need a reason for players choosing X sex for their toons?
I’m in no way going to make 40 male orc toons. variety in look and sound helps that situation out. I don’t particularly care what sex my toon is. I dont RP either. I dont’ transmog all that much. I just pick a race and sex and then play the game.
oh, i have plenty of toons. first toon i ever made was undead male warlock. why did I pick undead? cause i felt like it. why did i pick male? cause i felt like it. why did i pick warlock? cause a friend recommended them during vanilla after i explained my preferred play style.
I have around an even split of male and female characters.
Why? Because I’m playing a character, not myself.
And female draenei > male draenei, in every class.
