Server lag is poo to being with. And I’m not getting screwed out of names and economies and roleplay for that crap.
Their version of mergers exist called Connected Realms. We just need more of those, delete CRZ and turn sharding into layers.
Again, maybe understand what I am saying before just knee jerk responding:
The goal is to have every layer have 5k on it.
Once an hour the layers rebalance. Or the shards. Who cares. The tech is not our problem.
You log into either PVE or PVP.
You have no realm name. Layer 1 is at 4k. Layer 2 is at 2k.
People on layer 1 get moved to layer 2 once an hour to rebalance pop.
You won’t even notice. This only applies to ungrouped players. As soon as you group you get moved to the leaders shard/layer.
Realms are gone. Server transfers are over except between PVP and PVE. Or not at all and just have toggled via warmode which again moves you. Layers open and close dynamically.
Like how it should be.
This tech ALREADY EXISTS. ITS NOT IMPLEMENTED TO BLEED CUSTOMERS IN A PREDATORY NATURE. ITS WHY CROSS REALM MYTHIC IS HELD OFF TOO.

PvP server concept is dead and gone. And you just screwed over RP realms.
That’s bad for naming and guild names and the economies.

This isn’t an echo chamber. If you dislike people disagreeing, then send an in game suggestion for your idea and try not to get upset with people who are simply being blunt.

Seriously when are they going to do something about these servers? Sharding and crossrealms is not the answer.
The servers are not dead there are people a lot of them even with cross realming ,that’s not the problem .People just are not interested in the content we were presented and can you blame them with barriers placed every where from quests to raids .I certainly don’t.
