Why do preservation evokers use bronze dragon abilities and not red?

in wow each healer spec almost has its own colour
resto druid = green
resto sham = blue
mist monk = teal
holy pally = yellow
h/disc p = white (kinda)
evoker = yellow again because based on bronze dragons. BUT why not make it based on red dragonflight. then we could have had a red healer. and arent red dragons based on life and healing?

“This is my gift: compassion for all living things. A drive to protect and nurture them. And the ability to heal that which others cannot, birth what others may not, and love even the unlovable–who surely need such grace more than any other souls.”

This is actually the best season to be a “red” healer as evoker!

-Raid has engulf healing, which are red fiery explosions that is the main heal.

-M+ has chronowarden set bonus where you can spam living flame on your boss and get extra fireballs healing your party. The uptime is pretty long!

Next expansion may have more reliance on red living flame- we’ll see.

If you look at the current changes for the alpha, you’ll see that’s not the case.

With the exception of the blue flight pretty much only being represented by devastation I think they did a fantastic job weaving magic from each flight into all the evoker specs.

Just give us an optional questline for the ability to toggle and attune with a specific dragonflight at the oathstones or something. That way it can give us optional visuals of that flight for our spell effects.

My impression of the patch notes was that they want us to rely on dream breath, emerald blossom, and dream flight more. So, we’ll be spewing more green than ever.

Well for that just set them on fire… We have the power to do that.
