Why do ppl still have to buy BFA to get Shadowlands? That seems borderline unethical with 6 weeks left. Remove BFA requirement for SL for new accounts please.

Just wait those 6 weeks, and when SL releases, BFA will be added to the base game. BFA has so many stupid overlapping systems new players wouldn’t be able to get it all done in 6 weeks anyway to be “prepared” for next expansion.

Because right now, BfA is the base game. When Shadowlands comes it, it will be the base game.

In your opinion when is the perfect time BFA became the “Base” game?

What the difference between making it the base game now vs. making it base when Shadowlands Pre-Patch hit?

At this point everyone knew Shadowlands is around the corner, so any new player should know they wait for Shadowlands, or just pay the sub to play the Base Game so they can level up new characters and wait for pre-patch to level up to 120 ( 50 in Shadowlands )

Just like back in Legion when BFA Prepatch rolls around with the Darkshore event.

Because it is the current game.

It is not unethical for a company to charge for a viable product when they have a better one that will be available in short order or even have one that is already on the market.

However, it is unethical to ‘borderline’ smear a company because they are not giving you their product for free.

It is a courtesy that they will roll BfA into the base game at Shadowland launch.

Stop being so entitled.

I thought prepatch made bfa part of the base game. Am I misinformed?

Entitled? I mean, I can’t even respond to such a stupid statement. In around 2 weeks BFA will be bye bye as SL takes over… a new player should pay $49 for that? You can’t be serious… and then have to turn around and pay another $39-$79 for the next game or be stuck? It is wrong on every level and I stand by the unethical statement.

With Legion, they waited until one day after the BfA pre-patch went live to make it part of the base game.

Pretty sure that happens after the next expansion is released – that happens Oct 26th.
