Why do ppl keep lying about paying to play BC from Vanilla?

Lol people want @#$% handed them for free, what a joke. I should just call back the Pizza Hut I just ordered from and demand them to give me free pizza.

Clearly not if you can’t even grasp how stupid it sounds to say that no game does it for free the immediately suggest anyone not happy that it isn’t free plays another game.

That’s a really dumb philosophy. The price was changed because people didn’t deal with it. It’s called feedback.

Ah yes, I’m entitled because I don’t think we should be charged for a service they’re providing anyway.

Do you even know the meaning of the words you’re using?

No, we don’t. We’re already paying $15/mo.

“You were going to make a pizza anyway! Why can’t you just give it to me for free?!?”

Dont like it deal with it or move to a different game, I can’t dumb it down anymore for you

Not as dumb as your philosophy on wanting it for free…do you even work for a living?

Clearly you don’t even know the meaning of what you’ve been crying about so maybe you should look in a mirror.

You’re paying $15 to play a game, not other services. Do you even own a cell phone? same logic implies if you do own one. If you don’t get the reference then you need to read a damn book.

What do you mean I have to tip the driver? I got a free pizza

It’s a funny story because most people are subscribed to classic with the free perk of playing Shadowlands. The reality is that you are subscribed to be able to play both. It’s either both or nothing.

The reason blizzard plays word salad and jumps through hoops to explain it this way is because they want to group all subscribers as shadowlands subscribers even if 3/4 of them don’t even play it. This is so they can say “We have X players subscribed to Shadowlands”, in reality its one subscription being payed to play multiple games.

They can think that, but they are wrong. Blizzard has already confirmed it is the opposite.

Still wrong, Blizzard has said otherwise. You pay for Retail, you get access to Classic as part of that.

Again, paint it whatever way you want, but Blizzard gets to make the call on what you are paying for and what you aren’t.

What a sad world we live in where gamers are so beaten and demoralized they are happy to pay $15 per character to log in to a character that already exists.

You’re not even paying for a service; the service is already completed by the time they’re asking for your money.

When it’s a universal action, you can’t really say they are providing a service FOR YOU.

The service they are providing is allowing you access to the copy. THIS can be said is a service for you.

This doesn’t mean its right. Blizzard can be wrong about the things they confirm. And they have historically been wrong about a TON of things they confirm.

If a subscription allows both Shadowlands and Classic to be played, it is offering multiple games on one subscription. You don’t get to throw logic out the window simply because it is said.

This position only exists to cook the books to inflate the success of shadowlands.

Subscription —> Offers X, Y and Z —> You are paying for X, Y and Z
You —> NO! Blizzard says you are paying for X and you get Y and Z as a perk!

That’s what you sound like right now.

It 100% does.

shrug

Sorry you can’t accept reality.

Like I’m right and you’re trying to do some mental gymnastics to make your position correct when it isn’t?

Sure.

You can still log into them in either classic OR TBC

You just have to pay if you want to do both. I feel like you aren’t getting this

Yeah, i mean… no one said otherwise.

Yes, that is the complaint. Why do we have have to pay $15 per character to log in to a character that already exists?

The “it isn’t free to store the data” excuse doesn’t really apply if they’re going to be store that data regardless.

You aren’t getting this.

Jesus man you are so entitled

Technically the character does not exist on the realms until you make a choice.

The name and options to clone or play point to a snapshot of the character that is stored in a master table of all characters taken during the snapshot.

That toon does not truly exist in terms of being tangible to the realm they are on until the snapshot is copied.

DBA’s would love to have a chat with you about not getting it.

Now, havn’t we played this post out?

Compelling argument.

The information as to why can be found here: A Formal Request Thread for Fresh/New TBC Servers - #2852 by Lilock-kilrogg
You might try discussing this in an existing thread, unless you are just out for a “reeeee” effect to get the pot stirred.

Adding, how did you arrive at the conclusion that people are lying about paying for a product they desire? Please link the data.

They wanna show how big their pp is in Vanilla because they think people look at their awesome naxx gear and go “omg i wish i had that” XD

You’re whining that you don’t get a service for free. Honestly you’re just being a child
