Why are you not doing the regular heroics? Why do the slog version for solely chaos orbs?

Sure, but it’s faster vp/hr running regular heroics where you can skip lots of bosses and trash.
Lol you can skip the same amount of bosses and trash in the infernos and get 240 valor vs 120 valor per run. the 1st normal heroic every day gives 240 yes but after that it gives 120.

I think Blizzard provided an explanation for the deserter debuff when they first introduced the mechanic. On this forum you ll only get replies from other players so I suggest googling this and finding out yourself.

I agree with you. As a healer, I’ve been kicked by DPS who die do to mechanics then blame me for their, failure to do their role. Then punished with the deserter de buff

Because blizzard caters to hypersensitive babies. And if you are not perfect or not moving fast enough. Etc. You get kicked. And methodical learning is dead.
It isn’t you. I have gotten kicked for stupid reasons also. Some people in this game are just petty and impatient. And others just follow the crowd. Oh wow, a vote kick check list popped up on my screen. I don’t know what the heck is going on, but mash Yessss. Mashhh yesss as fast as I can.
Like we legit live in a world where nobody can think for themselves. Like I always say no to a vote to kick menu if I don’t have a clue what is going on. So blame the clueless who blindly click yes also, as well as the person who initiated the vote kick in the first place. It’s sooooo stupid.

Bro this happens way to often lol which is why I will never ever heal again. Or tank either. Not getting kicked for that.

its true, too often the kick feature gets weaponized but I also blame the community at large for not reading/not caring whenever a kick pops up. They just press “yes” and move on without thinking it through or considering the reasons given (if any are given at all).
My son was a heavily geared raid tank last year. I wanted his help on getting something out of a dungeon I was geared for the dungeon but just barely and I was playing the healer. About halfway through there was a vote to kick me. Nobody died nobody was in danger dying I wasn’t saying much just doing my job DPSing when I could which was quite a bit since my son was heavily geared and being polite with everybody. I only knew about the kick because my son put in group chat if you kick the healer I go with him. Needless to say the vote kick failed.
So honestly I quit doing dungeons with other people. I only do follower dungeons and if my son’s available to tank for me I go along with him.

Don’t let it stop you. My guess is they wanted to kick purely off your ilvl which I assume is pretty low if you wanted gear from a dungeon. That’s pretty sad though if no one was dying. There’s a few of us out there who don’t blindly click yes.
I’m a fairly good disc priest (and well geared for the dungeons) and there are times people will die in inferno dungeons on me still or even an occasional wipe. Granted, it’s due to standing in bad and not moving or pulling too many bad packs as if it were a regular heroic or no one interrupting/stunning - or last boss of shadowfang with zero interrupts and no one to dispel the cursed bullets. Holy crap that hits hard when it’s on everyone.
Well it sounds like you also failed to do your role as a healer!!!

Been playing this game for almost 15 years and literally never been kicked from a dungeon. simply don’t suck and you’ll be fine.

this is true if your bad, dont do mechanics don’t do good damage come in pvp gear or anything else that constitutes bad behavior your chances of getting kicked are fairly high.
or better yet, just let us uncheck that miner dungeon from LFG
If you are actually in long enough and get kicked then you won’t get that debuff.
yes gotta be in the group for 15 mins then you can leave and not get a 30min debuff
