it’s the most basic boring bowl haircut kind of class in the game. i can understand prot, but really? Do you have no creatively? In a game full of magic fantasy demons fearies elves elemental blood powers, why would you want to play a dude that swings a stick and goes bonk
i dont get it, every other class can do the same thing but better and with cool things added like fire, frost, plague, blood, fel fire, ninja daggers, literally anything else.

Its like one of the only classes with no cool fantasy, you’re just some guy with a sword or axe but in lore you wouldn’t stand a chance against mages or anything if it was realistic. I’m not sure why people play it either.
Sometimes you don’t want to be a sparkly magical spellsworder that shoots lasers everywhere. Sometimes you just want to swing a sword and take someone down the old-school way. Don’t gotta be fancy.

For me at least, the “coolness” of using fel fire has waned over the past 15 years. I want my classes to be fun to play above everything else.

That’s the appeal. All you need a skill with a weapon, a majestic beard and the will to take down anyone who questions you. Warrior’s have a cool fantasy.
And warriors have accomplished a lot in history. Famed ones have done some pretty impossible things with nothing but an axe or sword backing them up. Magic is unnecessary.
