Why do people name their characters after the corona virus?

seriously like why

Because timely.

Eventually, they will look silly. It will be as if they named their character “Swineflu.”

Probably against the name rules, to do what you are talking about.

I feel sorry for the fire mage who was already named “Corona”

Bad sense of humor is my guess.

Eh, just report them and move on. Best you can do. If Blizz finds it to be an issue, that person gets a free name change.

Because they want a funny reaction and to /cough during a dungeon.

I really don’t think people do this out of ill-intent

People getting pissed and making threads about it is pretty funny.

That’s the ONLY reason behind it.

That’s what happens when you have nothing better to do.

I think some people have a messed up sense of humor and others don’t have enough of one so names like that are a thin grey line that will look stupid after it’s over.

I believe that people see ill-intent where they want to find it.

I’m not bothered by it and never will be lmao

You’re wrong though.

It’s done by people using the random anonymity of the internet to be the horrible people they actually are inside, but don’t want to reveal in their real lives, because then the people that see them everyday will KNOW they are horrible people.

What’s the ill intent? It only causes harm to those who allow it to cause them harm.

But its not, you are not laughing. Making people mad with out the funny just makes you a spaz.
